I see this was posted 8 years ago. Nice Concours! I hope it went to a good home. I’m currently shopping for a bike and considering a Concours 1000 like this one. At age 63 and having owned and ridden motorcycles since age 12 or 13, I’ve had a few. I’ve owned Suzuki’s and Honda’s… a 2000 BMW R1200C Classic (an ivory one just like the one in the 1997 James Bond movie “Tomorrow Never Dies”)… a brand new street legal Can-Am 560 Sonic single-cylinder 4-stroke thumper with the Rotax motor (the thing could climb straight up a wall)… an ‘01 KTM LC4 640 Enduro single-cylinder thumper… an ‘01 Honda Magna 750 V4 musclebike cruiser. But never in all my 63 years have I ever owned any Kawasaki or Yamaha. I hear good things about these KawaConcours.
Beautiful bike
Nice bike these bike's will surprise you
amazing red
So is that black piece on the outside a frame slider? Looking at a 2001 blue one with 9034 miles on it at a mom and pop dealership.
*HELP* New to motorcycles. Never ridden one, or do dirt bikes count? Lol. Anyway I'm going to go look at 2003 concours bike in a few days. Guy said it runs amazing, no issues, 32,000 miles only but he mentioned there's a little leak either from the oil or gasket... Question iwould that be an expensive repair or are those Fairyl cheap and easy to fix? He's selling for only $1000 btw
If you can ride a dirt bike you can ride a street bike the biggest problem is people in cars they will pull out in front of you all the time so be ready for it
@@clarknawrocki3851 see, it's been like 20 years since I rode a dirt bike and I don't even remember if it was that or a 3 or 4 wheeler. I don't recall having to mess with any clutch though... Just twist the handle to make it accelerate?
@@rickyrichreacts9667 it may help if you can drive a manual transmission car. Brakes are right hand (front), right foot (rear), left hand is clutch. Left foot is shift lever. Normally gear box is 1 down then neutral, then 5 gears up.
@@turtle19dad ended up going with a 2011 ninja 250. Loving it but I suck at down shifting lol
@@turtle19dad Only 5 speed total on these I think.
Superrrrr!!!!!
Mine's an 02 78,000 kms...
Hi!! Still on sell? Can you send it to Mexico?
...just walk across the border like all the rest of your compatriots and go pick it up!
its an overgrown moped.
With a 1000cc ninja engine my friend. So much usable torque at low rpm too
Bigger than your Vespa.
Bahahahahahaha, get on that "moped"
That "moped" will have you make a bigger brown stain in your pants than you normally have! 🤣
