I've always admired how you prioritize things in life. I never expect a video, just very happy every time you post. Thank you for the last four or five years of education, tips, inspiration and entertainment. I stopped dreaming, got off my butt and built my off grid cabin, due in large part to your channel. We had a family cabin in NH much like your family did but unfortunately ours was sold off, so I started a new one here in SW Virginia mountains. Take care of yourself and please know you are loved and appreciated.
My family and I are on our 3rd year of growing a garden. I have to say it's one of the most labor intensive, yet enjoyable experiences there is. Our daughter is now 5 years old and it excites her so much to plant seeds and see them grow. She found a maple tree "helicopter" a few weeks ago and I explained to her what it was. We cleared off an area and she buried it. A couple of days ago we're out in the yard and she comes running and screaming "Daddy! Daddy! My tree is growing!" Moments like that is what it's all about! We'll be thinking about you during your surgery and I hope you have a speedy and successful recovery!

Hi Boss...at our property in the Georgia mountains we place our trash in a locked tool gang box until we can take it to the transfer station. We picked up in Facebook marketplace for $80.00. 👍👍🏿

I'd love me some of those boulders 😁 and our garden is fenced as well, the bunnies would eat everything! You are so inventive!

Our Food Forest is coming along fine, we picked out first Okra and Peppers today, got the Meyer Lemon and Persian Lime finally planted Today! Tomorrow I will be working on the Torii Gate for the entrance into the garden.
Someone on TH-cam made his hoop houses hinged. About three hinges along one side, and latched on the opposite. That way you can lift one side, prop it up and have a peek. Cheers Boss! The garden looks wonderful JC and Lori! It is ok to loose some plants, it was bound to happen with your growing season and early start. But the ones you lost served a tremendous purpose! They flourished during extremes and early planting and most of all, it was the inspiration they gave both of you! Having GREEN with snow all around is incredible! The ones that made it will surely be hardy. I hope some of them were heirloom that made it! If they are, they will be incredibly hearty! Save those seeds JC! God Bless you both JC and Lori!
