Hope the two of you and your families are well and enjoying whatever you are getting up to these days…time certainly moves too fast, but wanted to send a note to say you are missed…take good care of each other because you are so meaningful to to sew/so many on this side if the screen.
I am so excited to watch this series and the process of you making so many pairs of jeans!! I can’t believe you’ll be making three each! What a treat and fantastic opportunity for us to learn from you!!!
Hi there! Thanks so much love all your videos and did your overlocker course too which was fab! I cannot find the next video with the makes? Really want to see how these came out. I hope you are both well!!!
I've got a deer and doe Bluet in a light weight denim on my cutting table ready to sew. And then I'm making the Style Arc Sandra narrow leg jeans in pink! Thank you for the inspiration and the energy that bounces off the two of you! 🥳❤
Sounds like great fun, cant wait to see you do your adjustments thank you I know it takes a lot of work putting together a video while in the thick of sewing All those jeans wow
So nice all those different fits in the making. Quite a labor of blue love 💙💙💙😘 I have a self drafted pattern 👖 cut out in the table out of Lady McElroy cobra corsage in black drill. Already wearing a pencil skirt out of it. Lovely 🐍🪲🖤
I'm really enjoying this series. I am planning to make a good number of jeans and trousers over the next six months. I have been planning for a while but putting off starting and I desperately need a few pairs of new trousers. This is really helping with getting me inspired to start. Really looking forward to following your progress, in general but also the little details and tweaks you will make. Thank you.
I am loving this series of videos! I am very nervous to make jeans because of all the potential fitting issues. Do you plan to talk through any fitting tips for jeans? Love your enthusiasm and your obvious love for each other!
So exciting!! I love my Ginger jeans: I’ve made black flared version with white stitching, in olive stretch cord, in black stretch denim with bronze brocade, in regular indigo stretch denim, and I just made the low rise/stovepipe version. So 5 pairs and I adore them. There might be another pair of low rise Gingers!
Oh wow 🤩. I’m so excited to follow along. I was going to ask about fit adjustments but then Nicky said you’d be doing a video on that too Rachel so that will be fab. And I can’t wait to see your I AM Sunshine jeans as that’s what I’ve gone for. Looking forward to hearing all about the notions etc too which I’ve started thinking about but I really must do the projects already lined up before getting carried away with my jeans 👖. I’m super excited though ☺️. Roll on the next video xx Just a quick question - I plan to use an 8oz denim but notice yours is closer to 10oz - I should be ok shouldn’t I? It suggests medium weight… cheers x
Loving the series, although i'm only a novice dressmaker. Like Nicky i'm a quilter, bag maker turned beginner dressmaker so I was also thinking about the scraps and see a quilted denim jacket. Hovea pattern, mayfield pattern and gathered.how website have a free pattern on how to draft a pattern. Looking forward to next episode
Oooooh I didn’t realise the dawn jeans came in the wide leg. I am not attracted to the original Dawn jeans silhouette (I am old enough 1. To have worn that style in the 80’s -and never want to go back and 2. Then lived through the subsequent fashion eras when that same ‘Mum jeans’ silhouette was considered to be impossibly daggy- and unfortunately I can’t shake the associations 🤦♀️)…..but the wide leg variant…….yep 100% I need them. They look soooo 70’s, which weirdly enough is a decade whose fashions I love. 🤷🏼♀️ I will be watching closely to see how they turn out. VERY VERY excited here.
I am enjoying your jeans videos very much. I emailed you twice and never heard back. I wanted to purchase a class during the BIGO offer but now missed it. Perhaps my email is in your junk folder. It’s all good.
Looking forward to seeing your jeans xx
Thanks the fabric gods for stretch denim! I love the stretch! 💝

And I’ve made over 8 pairs of the Morgans…they are pretty well the perfect slim boyfriend jean. Lord, I’ve made too many pairs of jeans, I think.
Yay! Thank you for this excellent video! I have Dawn jeans, but now I think I will try the fuller leg version :)
How's the Jean project going? I can not wait to see what y'all made?? Thank you!!!
Very nice sharing
I’ve had the I AM Sunshine pattern for a while now, but too scared to make them because of the fitting adjustments part… can’t wait for the video !!!!

I was just stopping by the channel to check if I had missed any updates here, but I can't find any. Did you make your jeans? :)
What happened to the Stitch Sisters? Anyone know, asking from the US?

VERY VERY excited here.
I hope that you are both doing well. Only found your channel recently and it’s fabulous. Will you be making more videos?
Have you made the video yet on your finished jeans? I can't find it.
Will you be doing a video on actually making jeans please?
