I have a Jeskai deck I call Walkers Behind Walls and it’s proving to be pretty efficient at getting emblems. The Oaths of Teferi & Gideon plus Inexorable Tide and other proliferate effects help accelerate the timeline. Walls like Aether Membrane, Pramikon, and Fog Bank help protect the Walkers, along with Sculpted Sunburst and other creature based board wipes.
I once had a game with Narset where I was able to get Elspeth on to the field and ult with her in two turns from proliferate and Oath of Teferi, quickly making sure that my commander wasn't going anywhere.
I managed to get off a Daretti emblem once, but that was because my opponent was new to the game and didn't realise the power of emblems. Just started recurring O-stone over and over against his elfball deck. Couldn't recover and I won by default.
Fun gameplay! And yes, i have gotten an emblem, but only because it was chandra, awakened inferno's + ability in my groupslug deck (and she's not even in it anymore, so it probably won't happen again)
I have a planeswalker deck built around the rowan twins from battle bond. I have ulted them both at least twice, mostly thanks to deep glow skate and proliferate shenanigans
I got a Teferi, Who Slows the Sunset emblem off once. It was pretty nice and I won that game (by casting and resolving Approach of the Second Sun three times...)
i once got an emblem off in edh in a 4 player game with my brothers. In my atraxa superfriend decks, I got a tamiyo field researcher emblem out by turn 7, allowing me to cast any nonland cards from my hand with paying their costs. so I then literally just drew cards and played big planeswalkers and creatures.
Being the pilot for a Myrkul deck, this is increasingly what it feels like. People are VERY concious of Myrkuls potential power, and gets targetted early in every game. Its tough.
Yes. He's an a target but when you play with other high priority decks you can bide your time until everyone else has used their removal on eachother before flooding the board and taking over the game.

Go-shintai of life’s origin and Zaxara, The Exemplary, one (Go-Shintai) I know is fairly good and fun, but the other (Zaxara) haven’t seen too much of, but I love the versatility of being able to crap out a massive hydra or a bunch of little babies with x cost cards. Love the videos and seeing some commanders I haven’t seen get played keep it up
I’ve gotten planeswalker ults a few times with Ral Zarek in my coin flip deck and rigged my coin flips with Krark’s thumb to reflip coins and took 4 extra turns to win the game. 🤣
alright youve suckered me into commenting your video. I have ultimated planeswalkers in commander. The secret is to have you deck built around doing this.If you're playing a superfriends deck you can do things wipe creatures to play your walkers onto an empty board, play doubling season to make them ult the turn you play them, or have lots of proliferate effects to move them toward the ult quicker. three other players can usually stop you from ulting one walker, but its a lot harder to stop youre playing a walker or board wiping almost every turn.

The other day as well my buddy got the Neon Kamigawa Tezzeret to ult as well because he was playing Myr Tribal and we weren't paying attention lol (friend ended up last place since he was archenemy).
At 5:50 Kovacs taps carnelian orb of dragonkind to cast hellkite tyrant. Hellkite tyrant gains haste until end of turn. Miirim trigger on the stack and makes a hellkite token. Does the token also get haste? Is that what "gains haste means? It adds the keyword until end of turn? Or it has the ability, but not the keyword so the token does not get haste? I legit have a degree in calculus and I need magic explained to me as though I'm a toddler. SO MANY RULES LOL.
Rule 706.2 - I play that card in my Miirym deck as well and had to look this one up. It basically isn't a status that meets copy criteria. Logically, you'd think the copy has haste as well, but the rules are def funky when it comes to copies..

At the start of that turn, he has Kamahl, 2 mana dorks, Raggadragga, and Maryn, the Nurterer on the battlefield. 2 things to note, 1. Marwyn reads: "tap, add an amount of green equal to marwyn's power" 2. Raggadragga reads: "Whenever you cast a spell, if at least seven mana was spent to cast it, untap target creature. It gets +7/+7 and gains trample until end of turn." So, with these 2 cards on the battlefield, if he taps Marwyn and casts a 6+ cmc spell, he can untap and pump her with Raggadragga, meaning she will be at least an 8/8. At this point she taps for 8 green by herself and can chain big spells by tapping for mana, casting a 6+ cmc spell, then untapping and pumping with Raggadragga, at which point she taps for even more. Okay now onto the turn actions. 1. He casts End-Maze Forerunners. This card pumps all of his creatures by +2/+2 gives them trample and cruicially, Vigilance! At this point, Maryn is a 5/5. She is a base 1/1 but has 2 +1/+1 counters on her and has +2/+2 from raggadragga. On cast from End Maze Forerunners, he untaps Marwyn and pumps her by +7/+7, meaning she is now a 12/12 with vigilance and trample and taps for 12 green mana. 2. He moves to combat. When he moves to combat Kamahl triggers, pumping his entire team by +3/+3 and giving everything trample. Marwyn is now a 15/15 that taps for 15. He then declares attackers and attacks. Now when he attacks with his team, Raggadragga's triggered ability goes on the stack. This ability reads "Whenever a creature you control with a mana ability attacks, untap it." HOWEVER, because his entire team gets vigilance until end of turn due to End Maze Forerunners, his creatures don't tap when attacks. 3. With Raggadragga's triggered ability on the stack, he taps all of his mana dorks. producing 20 green mana(His dorks tap for 17, +3 green from Leyline of Abundance). He uses this mana to activate Leyline of Abundance twice, giving his entire team 2 +1/+1 counters and he still has 6 green mana floating. Now Raggadragga's triggered ability resolves, untaping all of his mana dorks. At this point he has 4(he says 6 in the video but I think he really has 4) green mana floating and Marwyn is a 17/17. He then taps all of his dorks again to produce 22 green mana, he uses this along with the 4 floating green mana to activate Leyline of Abundance 3 times, putting 3 +1/+1 counters on his entire team. Then they move to damage and he has enough trample damage to kill the other 2 players. To give you an idea of the end result: His entire team is pumped for +5/+5 through Kamahl and End-Maze Forerunners(End maze is pumped for +3/+3 since it doesn't pump itself). His entire board has 5 +1/+1 counters from Leyline(Just from this turn!), all of his dorks are pumped for +2/+2 from Raggadragga, and he has pumped Marwyn for +7+7 through Raggadragga's ability. Now here are the final stats of his team when he goes to damage(Everything has trample) End Maze Forerunners : 15/15 Kamahl, Heart of Krosa : 15/15 Marwyn: 20/20 Raggadragga: 18/18 Birds of Paradise(flying): 13/14 Other dork : 13/13 He then kills everyone with trample dmg Hope this helps and that it wasn't too confusing
7:15 did you miss Raggadragga 3rd ability of giving a creature +7+7 and Trample after casting a 7+ casting cost spell. If you did Kyle would have been Dead.
I think he did. That ability is so powerful with Marwyn and heronblade elite. If you’ve got the card draw you can literally chain big spell into big spell. It’s beautiful 🥲
@@ncuco ah OK, yeah I saw one episode on Command zone with Jimmy using Miirym and he was a non factor the entire game because he was mana screwed, then I saw this episode where Miirym just happened to lose. I'm working on Miirym myself as well. I still need to add a few clones on it and blink spells. I can't do that though until I get back to Washington, right now I'm in Guam.
I have got the emblem for Liliana Dark Realms atleast 8 times in my games. No one thinks about her till its too late. I have also gotten Lolth the spider queens a couple of times. Not as useful though.
Please find someone else to narrate the games, your voice is clear enough, but lacks any real enthusiasm or excitement, it just drones on. Hopefully this advice will allow your channel to grow.

Endraze forerunner is a game ender but he misplayed on the counterspell, its craterhoof behemoth junior but still a good budget option

I can usually ultimate Nissa vital force, only needs to survive one table rotation and makes a body to protect itself

You can build a cool and strong myrkul under budget, just add syr konrad and dreadhound
