I think the idea of ceroba wearing a maid outfit and clunky rollerskating could be cute and comedic.

Deltarune Chujin could be some kind of software programmer or video game dev, while Axis works as his virtual assistant, like a more alive, responsive and emotional version of Alexa or Siri
I think it would be even cooler if he WAS something like normal Alexa or Siri, but ends up going Sentient in the dark world, because of Chujin's connection to him. (Basically, he just gets more human-like in the dark world, but in the light world he is literally just alexa.)

Maybe in this world, Chujin was like a toy designer or manufacturer or something as a side job rather than a scientist who built a bunch of robots, or like in general made a bunch of hand crafted toys for Kanako, and so if their old house were to be turned into a Dark World, maybe we’d see like a workshop Chujin used basically turned into a more fantasy themed version of the Steamworks
I've seen a lot of ideas similar to that! I do kind of want to keep Chujin as some sort of maker/tinkerer/handyman thing, but I'm also considering making Martlet NOT know him, which would be hard to justify if he's a builder like her... there's just so many options, I don't know what to pick! I'll figure something out eventually...

Honestly him being both villainous and polite (if I understood concept you were implying correctly) sounds like fun combination. I imagine him saying "I'm sorry, but, you're trying to remove my best moments of life. Forgive me but... I'm afraid I will need to get rid of you, since you don't leave when I ask you to." or something among these lines. Or, as you said, him going on a villain-like rant on why he hates his life while still trying to be polite.

And i think i'm the of the few people who have the patience to wait for the Ch 3 to release like Ch 2.

@@RayBlu I am kinda patient about it (mostly because I have other games to play and things to do) but I don't blame anyone for being inpatient or making their own version honestly. I like seeing people getting creative, and it's part of experience of getting Deltarune released the way it is.

Sucks to see this awesome mini series has come to an end, but I'm also excited to see what new things you have in store for us.
I’m probably going to come back to it eventually! I just gotta do a little worldbuilding and development of the dark world n whatnot before I can make more videos on it. Plus I’ve got some other video ideas that I’m really excited about!
In my version of Deltarune Yellow, Kanako is the main protagonist and Clover is given the Deltarune Asriel treatment and is away at college. His Darkner counterpart is one of the flowers from Asgore's flower shop and is named Rowen! I won't release the concepts yet until June since I've got other flowers to reveal this month and the upcoming ones as well
Oooh, Kanako being the vessel is a fun idea! I've seen a few floating around haha. And making Clover the Asriel with a dark world counterpart is an idea I don't think I've seen yet. Very interesting take overall, I like it!

These are some really cool ideas! Funnily enough, I was also thinking about a ceroba-inspired tragedy mask as a secret boss... Great minds think alike I guess!
Thanks for taking my idea for the story taking place in the summer! It adds uniqueness and doesn't tread the same story structure as base Deltarune.
Your series is a lot of fun to watch, and I'm motivated to write my own little fanfiction of my interpretation of Deltarune Yellow, you've obviously heard me talk about it plenty, and your ideas would be so fun to implement into the story.
Deltarune Lowley is already in development as we speak. It will implement all the ideas I have spoke about, along with your ideas for the characters. While a release date has not been confirmed yet, I plan to release the first part around the middle of February. It will be published on Archive Of Our Own, and will be promoted to hell on the Undertale Yellow subreddit.
Cherry, thank you for doing this. Your work is incredible and your ideas are so fun. You are such a small creator that deserves so much more, and I hope you gain the traction you deserve.

I think the antagonist would be either the Knight or someone working for the Knight. The Knight would be in Eastville because they don’t want the people in Hometown to get involved because that is where their friends and family probably live. Maybe the Knigh has tried to start the roaring in five other towns before Eastville where the other five souls lived, and Hometown is just their last resort.

@@cherryistired I even came up with the idea that if the villain would be someone working for the Knight, they's be called the Ronin who is a darkner manifestation of Chujin's dust which the Knight spread all across Eastville, so they'd have an ally in every dark world who could attack the heroes while they were busy and convince the rulers of those dark world to help the knight.
I think I forgot to guess it officially in the comments, but I did had a feeling Dalv would be a teacher.
We've been waiting for another one for two weeks please come out with more, we love this series
I already imagine the story to be like marlet adopted clover when was a little child and with chujin they are coworker/friends and thanks to them he met kanako i would make the story similiar to deltarune but i feel like it would be better if clover had his own story like in summer they hear about an abandoned building where strange things happens and go checking there and found a shiny star, curiosity take over and try to interact with it, then a black hole is opened and they get vacuumed, when they wake up they found themself in a strange garden and looking around they found flowey drawing he introduce themself and explain to them the story of the 2 worlds saying if they want to come back they need to interact with another dark star which is situated in the closest part of the big monastery protected by the dark queen
If somebody ask me why this story is because i wanted to make something different from the fontains and i think the stars that flowey left in the game are perfect for the role, for the place and the final boss well in my opinion the castle and the king remind me of asgore and undertale yellow end in new home with the final fight againt ceroba, so i imagine the boss to be like someone taken away by fury and who left herself closed in her building. And the boss and the place of course must be parts that remind the building where everything start like in deltarune chapter 1
Really the hardest part of my interpretation of this au is finding out how the hell I’m gonna insert the feisty four into the plot… i’m excited to see what you do with them if you decide to make concepts for the feisty four in the future!
I have gotten a LOT of suggestions for the feisty four in the comments of my last video! There are a ton of different ways to go with them. Not sure what I want to do myself, honestly!

I assume if Axis would appear, he would be in form of Analog Character, like Mettaton/Spamton situation? (like, original character but still having a lot of analog of character from the Undertale counterpart, possibly including parts of potential boss fight? I would honestly like to see how trash lit would look like if it was upgraded. Maybe like "Press [Z] at the right time to reflect some projectiles or block certain projectiles at all"?)
You've basically nailed my ideas for axis! thought if I'm being completely honest he might get multiple analog characters (I love him so much haha)
AAAA CEROBA FAMILY HOUSE DARK WORLD IS SOOOO SMART also i love love the complicated mother daughter relationship i like when parents are treated more human than like another big bad if that makes sense? like shes trying her best but life still happens... i LOVE magician dalv is so cute!!! the colors ARE realy nice
also idk if other people already told you, but ceroba lives with starlo and the feisty four in the group house. her bed is the soft bed. the past of yellow happens within a year so i think ceroba just wanted to be away from the house chu and her built really fast and ended up with the feisty five.

Ceroba wasn't a character I really connected much with when I first played but developing her for this au has really made me warm up to her. Also dalv is a sweetheart who needs more attention

also yeah i think given enough time, she probably would’ve rented a hotel to stay at if everything didn’t happen so fast. she is pretty prideful!!
dalv's design and lore might actually be my favorite so far. this is just super cute and the art looked great :)

You don't know how much I want to make concept art for the dark worlds and the light world.
I put out these ideas precisely to inspire people and give them ideas to run with! If you do want to make anything based off this, I'm totally fine with it (as long as you credit me haha)

OH MY GOD FINALLY SOMETHING TO DO
Well, it seems this will be the first divergence from your lore I'm gonna have to make. Ceroba still has the house in what I've done, but they are 100% not gonna be able to keep it at the money rate they currently have. I have her working 3 jobs, one at a library for part-time, which inspired her to be a writer, and then she also works with Dina for night shifts (poor alcoholic fox mom doesn't know what sleep is.)
But hey, I did kinda go through with the Abandoned Ketsukane Dark World idea, albeit it's just the locked bedroom.
Ayyy well, it was bound to happen eventually! Ceroba working multiple jobs to keep the house is a very fun take though. And I’m curious to hear more about the locked bedroom…

That’s a good question!
Deltarune’s light world is a much more grounded setting than the underground. Hometown is a pretty normal town, whereas the underground had a snowy tundra next to a marsh next to an active magma flow next to a high tech building with shuffling rooms. It’s pretty different!
In the real world, more “western” towns are still towns, with gas stations and fast food and houses and stuff. I actually am pulling from my own personal experience with small towns in Texas to build up Eastville, but it’s just not gonna look like a classic western setting because those don’t exist anymore haha
Also I wanted Eastville to be close-ish to Hometown, so I couldn’t put it in a desert or flatland or anything. It’s gotta be in a kinda forest-y area, didn’t have a lot of choice there ;p

That really depends on what I end up doing with the weird route, tbh! Haven’t quite figured it out yet.
I will be honest though, I like how chapter 1 doesn’t have a weird route - it lets the story set up it’s themes and plot stuff without bogging it down, then challenges them in ch 2 with the weird route. It’s very well put together! I don’t know if my story’s gonna go the same route though, haha

I feel like Kanako would very rarely bring up anyone from her family, especially her parents. However, I think it’d be really in-character if there’s some kind of scene akin to the elevator scene in Deltarune chapter 1 where she starts to spill a bit. If I write any dialogue for this (or any other dialogue in this hypothetical game) I’d love to send it to you.
I agree, unless she’s absolutely forced to bring up her family, she’s probably not gonna volunteer any information about them. And her opening up more would be really heartwarming!
You think Axis would exist at all? My idea is that he could be an abandoned project or design from Chujin and would be the antagonist of a Dark world in the abandoned house, where he can finally come to life

I'd probably say no! I figure Rowen's only been staying with Martlet for a few years at this point, so they would have been in late middle school/early high school when they moved in. Though they've probably seen Dalv around school, they're not gonna meet him properly until his dark world!

So… What house were they living in, instead of their own, to need rent? In Undertale Yellow, Chujin doesn’t pay rent because he owns/built the Katsukane house himself.
PS: Ceroba technically lives in the Wild East. But she can live in her house at any time, it’s just not good for your mental health to live in a ghost house.
She couldn’t pay the mortgage and the house got repossessed! (I’ll be honest I forgot the word “mortgage” while recording which is why I was so vague haha)
Also, thanks for the clarification! I thought I heard somewhere that she specifically lived with someone, but I could be misremembering

There’s a fair bit I have to do for the town itself, but yes! The next few videos in this series will be mostly original ideas for the au.
Granted, it’s going to take me some time to polish those ideas enough for TH-cam, so my next few videos aren’t gonna be in this series haha. I’ll definitely be coming back to it once I have something to share though!

What if the knight equivalent in this prequel au is actually chujin, who is revealed to be the one creating the dark fountain’s?
After all, it isn’t specifically stated how exactly chujin died.
As cool as that would be, I kinda wanna try to stay away from involving the ketsukanes from the plot? They had a big part to play in uty, so I think that maybe letting some other characters shine here would be more interesting.
…then again, I really want to set the final dark world in the abandoned ketsukane house, which would heavily imply their involvement with the dark worlds…. Really gonna have to think about it!
