I bought 1 month ago so newer serial number. Shot approximately 1600 round of various types of ammo ranging from, and INCLUDING, Remington bulk ammo 36 grain (tub) to a ancient box of .22 (40gr) with a price label of .89 cents (Remington). I haven't had an issue, no misfires or jams. I use it as a training gun so a varient of people shot it. However, I did polish the feed ramp, the top of the chamber, parts of the the connector, and certain parts of the trigger bar. But my 2 cents.
Friend at work has one of these, and his experience has been the same. Eats any trash that fits in a .22 cal hole ! Looks like you did a good job with the alumahyde too 👍
I don't care what anyone says. My g44 runs like nobody business. Few stovepipe couple light primer strikes. My opinion it's ammo related. G44 .22lr is glock perfection.

Just found this Chanel . Got me a 44 shot it last week for the first time and it’s perfect , only 2 malfunctions but it was definitely the ammo, and if it does malfunction TAP,RACK,SHOOT it’s a practice gun so actually practice malfunction when they happen .
I have heard of some people having issues with the first few mags. Thankfully mine has been great since I got it. It’s actually one of my favorite guns to shoot.
Promags really need the G44 “jiggle” & the waxy bulk can be troublesome in them. Buy a 3D printed loader that holds the tab. I’ve got a spare Nelson slide, EDC cut and RMR pattern.
I think i have a video of me shooting some cci but i did purchase mine used and didnt clean her.. she ran but i would like to swop out a part i remember hearing some bad info on.. cant remember the name of the part on top of that i put her up but i can say that im happy with her for my 22lr pistol..
As a range gun or a self defense gun? I have both and the Glock 44 only “Feels better” best bet is shoot both and research what else to look for. Don’t let price be the only point of making a purchase.
Easy, all you need is some brownells Alumihyde and some wax and grease remover. Tear the whole thing down, wipe it down a few times real good. Then spray it and leave it alone for a few days.

where did you get the extended mag?
I like mine. I seemed to have issues for the first 50 rounds. Almost like it needed to break in. After that haven’t really had any issues.

no it cannot, the locking blocks are different. also the g44 frame will not accept a 19 slide. i belive the slide lock is different inside too.
