Great video Joe. I did these hills on a Birkett bagging expedition from the Birker Fell Road. The navigation along the Green Crag ridge was tricky and a lot height lost to Kepple Crag which had to be regained to get back to the car. The route from Eskdale seems a more natural route. Thank you.
Ive wanted to do it from Birker Fell Road too as there are a few Birketts I need to do west of Green Crag so maybe sometime soon I will get that way too!
Very dramatic scenery and weather, looks like a great hike. Superb video with useful and informative narration, thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
Thank you!
Great video Joe. Lovely scenery, some amazing drone footage. Well put together as always. Thanks for taking the time to do this.
Thank you! :)
Great video Double J! I might hit this up this weekend and grab a slice at the Peat-a Hut!
Thanks! Not likely to see anyone on this walk probably one of the quietest peak in the lakes!
@@WalkingintheWildwithJoeJackson @Walking in the Wild | with Joe Jackson I like the quiet! Is the path easy to follow? I think 5 hours is too long though, I'm breaking in a small dog. Are there any nearby wainwrights that are shorter ~3hrs ? Thanks for your help!
@@tIReDofConVErsaTIoN you could try Buckbarrow in Wasdale. Or Hard Knott from the top of Hardknott Pass is easy 😀
@@WalkingintheWildwithJoeJackson OK brill cheers. Hard Knott not too steep from Hardknott pass? Thanks again, appreciate it
@@tIReDofConVErsaTIoN not too bad at all, a bit wet underfoot and paths are faint but not much ascent to do
Great video. Wonderful area to explore :-)
Such a stunning place! First time I stayed in the valley but only visited a couple of times in the past. Definately going back!
