I'm making building inspections professionally, traditional way, by walking, checking, making pictures, and your solution looks nice and easy, but results are, for technical evaluation, below expectations.... 1. The low resolution (because of distance of taking pictures do not allow to make accurate evaluation of degradation of particular parts especially, most important state of roof surface: cracks, possible leaks) 2. The game changer will be the possibility of making accurate measurements on this model (not on all directions, but on main surfaces of the building - along walls and roof) There are any solution of this issues? Probably when we will get better quality images the model will hang because of its size...
Hi there! thanks for your comments. Solutions exist! 1. You can always take close up pictures and simply add them to the dataset. 2. You can do that already: th-cam.com/video/us_i7fNKmCA/w-d-xo.html You can add thousands of images to the project without worrying about the size and all works inside your web browser
When you added the images to the project, I noticed you only added the facade images from you folder. Do you then add the roof images into the same project folder?
That's correct, you would add the roof and facade images in the same project if your goal is to create a 3D model including both the roof and the facade.

Sorry I didn’t catch what software You using there ?
It's Hammer Missions! hammermissions.com
In addition to the 2D map of the roof, can Hammer Missions generate a 2D ortho projections of the facades?
At the moment, you can only create a 3D model of the facades but 2D ortho is on the roadmap!
Excellent!

Great video but I had to turn off, the background noise/music was making it uncomfortable to concentrate
Oh no! We'll try to lower / remove the background score in the next one!
Would have liked to have seen a but more detail on how he went about making the field adjustments to the flight plan.
We'll do our next video just on that!
