I'm telling you, in 1000 years this will be an actual thing
And i'm telling you it wil be 25 at most.
We already have technology we wouldn't even think would exist in less than 50 years two decades ago, like self-driving cars and smartphones. Heck, even laptops.
Also the fact that society is obsessed with looks and fashion, and plastic surgery is more popular than ever, this sorta thing would've been highly sought after and probably well-funded when the idea came up.
Epecially since its just a waaay safer and more hmmmmm... 'natural' looking than for example lip surgery.
I would much rather have my entire face wiped off and have to rely on another person to get back most of my senses than end up in some sort of surgery with an incompetent doctor and in the end looking like a freak of "nature', and so would probably other people.

Just an idea, but this RP reminded me of something. It reminded me of the scene from Toy Story 2 where the repair guy comes in and cleans, paints, and fixes Woody. @@sarasthoughts I also don't think that a lot of ASMR creators see much, if any money, from TH-cam because the content is usually flagged as sexual content by the TH-cam algorithm.

This reminds me of the “Uglies” book series. At age 16 you go to a hospital and they make you “pretty.” Everyone who is “pretty” looks almost exactly the same but everyone who is “ugly” look like normal people. They just completely change your features and everything
