Danny does an outstanding job with his orchestral & choir music; no one says much about that, his movies with Tim Burton & he does a really beautiful job with "Black Beauty" he dedicated to his 2nd daughter, Lola. You get to know his "signature". Danny said "The Nightmare Before Christmas" was probably the most challenging he ever did having to perform so many parts at the same time - WOW!!! Gotta LOT of respect for that!!! I read on Wiki originally his name was Robert Daniel Elfman & later he changed it!!
