@@jeevansugupta8153 You need to assume the weight of the original diamond here so the best way is to just add the values of the given ratio which comes out to be 10 (1+2+3+4). It says that the price is directly proportional to the square of the weight so the price of the original diamond comes out to be 100 (square of 10).
Next you need to calculate the price of all the broken pieces, which is the addition of squares of each of the ratio values (i.e weight), which comes out to be 30.
Now, according to us, the difference between the prices (i.e. loss) is 70 (100-30) but it is given in the question that it was sold for a loss of 210000 so divide 210000 by 70 to get the value of one unit which comes to 3000. Now they've asked to calculate the price of the original diamond so you need to multiply 3000 by 100 which brings the answer to 300000.

@@Mrinal13 Total 10 hoga to uska square 100. small parts 1:2:3:4 unke squares ka sum 30 hoga. so total 70 ka loss hai, jo 2,10,000 ke barabar hai. so one unit = 3000. So actual price 100*3000 = 3,00,000 hoga.
Actual price of diamond is ( 1+2+3+4)² =100
Here broken pieces got sold....so total price = (1²+2²+3²+4²)x= 210000
So x = 7000
So diamond's price is = 100*7000= 700000
So answer is none of these.
