There was a very important comment here. [50:30] I happen to agree that America has a moral duty to eliminate poverty, not only to defeat terrorism but as part of a broader humanitarian responsibility. What he and the NYT in general fail to understand is that is precisely what America has been doing.- and with phenomenal success. America has orchestrated the greatest economic phenomenon in history. The NYT rigorously refuses to report this because of its woke hate America editorial policy. But the simple fact is that in a little over a generation, the American liberal world order has thrust some ONE BILLION people from abject poverty into the prosperous middle class. It began with the Asuan Tigers, continued in China and now India and other countries are participating. It is the greatest generation o economic wealth and well-being in all of human history--easily outstripping the Agricultural Revolution and the Industrial Revolution. And these two journalists who have written an excellent book--are oblivious to it.

I wonder if these fools look at the ashes and dust of their schemings. They made a desert and called it peace.

Who are the fools? The Middle Eastern countries long before the Americans arrived or for that matter the Europeans, were some of the most poverty-stricken regions on the planet. And that continues to be the case--unless oil was discovered. A rare exception was Turkey--because it turned toward secularism. The fools are the people in these countries who fail to study why they are so poor. It has very little to do with America and Europe and a great deal to do with Islam and fundamentalism.

Al Qaeda ironically and I’m sure that would have crossed his mind before he went down with the ship. Respect to all the victims and a very informative discussion on Al Qaeda and the tactics that are being used to undermine, sow distrust and disrupt their operations.

This war is really between 2 extremists albeit Hamas started it and is to blame. People naturally get more “right wing” in a war because their lives and emotion are at play.
