      The story is that when I chose profile pic like 10+ years ago I couldn't find a picture of the minolta with a small enough file, so I took the second best thing and went with the toyota 7!

      Hahah, thanks bud. I do get some cash from it from ad revenue, and I have done some voiceover work in the past for a company, but not as much as I'd like.

    Why does the sauber sound nothing like it’s real life counterpart with the muscular sound

    Out of these, I gotta say the best is the Sauber. It won the LeMans, has a great look, and was actually in the LeMans (sorry Minolta). Though, the best is obviously the Minolta. It was usually first place in GT4.

      For reference, the XJR-9 also won the Le Mans 24h race, the year before the C9.

      Though, it had a tendency to be hard on tyres, fully tuned 1100hp, so it was best to keep the power 989hp.

    in gt5 it was 2 jaguar xjr-9 the other one has an darker purple on it

    You mention the XJR-9 wasn't a premium in GT5, it was a premium it was part of a DLC pack that you had to buy along with the 2011 red bull car I believe

    I thought the wm pugeuot p88 was the fastest le mans car ever at 252 mph and then the mercedes c9 in second with 249mph.

      I've heard of the P88's speed, but my quote is according to an auction of one of the Sauber C9's from a few years back.

    The Calsonic livery adds an extra 100 HP.
    But yeah, so the R89C is to the R92CP how the R33 is to the R34.
    Have you done a rival matchup between 90s Japan sports cars?

      No not yet. We've done Skyline vs Supra but not beyond those.

    It's disappointing that the XJR-9 couldn't keep up with most cars in the class in this game especially since it has one of the better engine sounds.

    i highly dislike the fact that you can upgrade those historic cars to a stupid high amount of hp. Id rather race the stock ones.

      vZKronos I understand the sentiment, but their tuned numbers aren't actually that inaccurate, since many of them produced more power in qualifying form, such as the Nissan R92CP, which was putting out 1,200 bhp in qualifying.
