If you select "Pawn Controlled Rotation" inside your CineCameraActor component you can control all aspects of rotation. You can also use a "t_interp" node to create smoother motion of the camera than your mouse will at first allow. Good idea with the character component though you got me on track to solve my probs thanks!

This was my solution, tried so many things to record my Tank driving in city. Nothing worked, only camera on tank, but it's physics went fried :( Thanks!
