I traded my m12 for gold. I know it was an L but I did it and little did I know that someone would give me snowflake rims for it. I did the trade and after getting the rims, I then traded it for brulee. I traded brulee for checkers and spider leg rims. So from gold only, I ended up with checkers and spider leg.

Not everyone is trying to upgrade, some people just want a certain car even if it is less valuable than what they are trading away. A lot of people also don't know their values and they tend to accept underpayments without knowing it
