I have been looking for any info on loading 223 with pc bullets and CFE223 powder for months now. Im glad you made a video on it great job man and i wouldnt mind an update if you have time

I should be casting some bullets this weekend and get new loads worked up to shoot the week after. Will post another video. Might be an all in one casting, sizing, loading, shooting video.
Just went to the range last weekend. Loaded about 350 rounds with 24 grains of CFE 223. At 25 yards I could sligshot these cast bullets more accurately.... FML. I'm kind of lost now. Positives are no leading, and 24 grains function the rifle.....
The Lee is my next mold choice after this if I can't get it to perform. The only downside is having to gas check them. That jumps the cost up and I can't find a good gas check maker for .223

How does this affect the gas system and do you get shaving of the powder coating at these higher velocities
I've had some luck with the Lee 55 gr and a 75 gr cast bullet in 223 . Keep at it , you'll get it .

@@jimmypage4753 For the 55 gr , I use 18 gr of H335 - for the 75 gr , I use 15.5 of 335
@@jamespollard1670 what mold for the 75 grn? This 62 grn Elvis mold is about to go into the recylce bin with the aluminum cans....
I shoot noe molds 60gr no lube groove and Lee 55gr gas check bullets out of my ar's. W748 or BL-C(2) they work great 👍
