The best touring machine on the planet. Smooth, comfortable, runs quite, amazingly reliable. They do not break. I haven't seen a dealer since new. No bike company makes them so reliable like the wing.
I really don't know if it has some real competitor.... It's too amazing

I'm a Harley guy, but I've always admired and appreciated the engineering that goes into the Wing. When Honda introduced the F6B a few years ago I knew I'd have one some day. Gorgeous bike.
I love my 2021 DTC, the world best touring motorcycle on this planet.
I am not normally a fan of matte paint, however this green is a winner.

Love it! Beautiful motorcycle. This is the way all Honda Powersports dealerships should operate. Behind the scenes. Clean, organized and methodical. Respecting the new product as the customer would appreciate it. I think what helps is this shop rise to higher levels is it appears to be integrated with a Honda car dealership service center. Well done.
Ordered my 2024 last week...however, the recall has come out last week as well, and Honda dealers can't sell any new model Gold Wings. All 2018 - 2024 Gold Wings have a recall on the impeller in the fuel pump system. Should be rectified on all new models soon! Can't wait...it's killing me! LOL!
My local US dealer has their last 2023 marked down $1800. I’m so tempted to go test ride it.

just a suggestion, but if you left the music off, this would very ASMR, as it was in certain sections of the vid that did not have music. Enjoyable.
There was a small sound issue where the music is. Also we had som external noises from the service (voices, loud sounds) were too much to add them and distract the video. Thanks for understanding, greetings !
My last Goldwing was a 1985 GL1200i, dressed to the ‘9s’. Sold it in 2002 with 162,000 on the clock, and drove it 300 miles to its new owner in LA. I miss it to this day!!

It is so impressive to see the non-Japanese workers handling the new bike with such care.....as non-Japanese they certainly have the "kodawari" spirit which is deeply ingrained in Japanese culture and philosophy which influenced various aspect of their everyday Japanese life.

Wonderful bike, thanks for sharing the initial setup. But I had to post this, I only own 2 budget scooters and an e-bike, but have 3 torque wrenches. No single bolt was tightened to the manufacturer specified torque, which, for a motorcycle of that price is a shame. Sorry the rant, cheers

Very fun to watch. I did have a question though. I saw you plug in the heated seat but there was no button to turn it on on the console. I have a 21 bagger that I installed fog lights and home link to and was wondering if I could get a heated seat and a button would it work. Mine doesn’t currently have a heated seat .
Usually it's needed to be activate somehow from the dashboard menu settings, need to ask the specialist and I'll come back witha proper answer

There is no button to turn it on in the console, and at least in Spain it’s not even an option for the standard model, really a shame…

I ride a streetglide but I would love to have the newer Goldwing. I love everything about it but I would want a simple padded backrest for my passenger much like the Harley’s without having the big luggage box in the back. I wouldn’t want to have a passenger without a backrest.

Evidently the factory battery wasn't good because I saw that they changed it during assembly.
Is it just me, or do other people also expect that type of bike to be completely set up with a torque wrench?

The color is excellent and the bike looks great. Having said that I do not get the GW without the tail box and arm rests. Isn’t the point of the flagship to be the best tourer? How can you tour if your passenger does not have a back rest? Just my humble opinion. I ride a Yamaha FJR1300 and one day I will tour with a complete GW. Safe riding y’all.
They've made this so called basic version without the tail box and the Tour version. The price difference between them it's around 10,000 $. So the answer to your question : to have a more "accesibile version" of this beast.
And not everyone travels with passenger…

Wow, if you have Honda VFR, keep it for your long investment, because it's the only Honda motorcycle powered with V4 engine. And as I know the Honda VFR has been discontinued, what a disappointment. And the only Honda model that still using the V4 engine is Honda RCV-213V motoGP.
@@henrichandrew I've owned two VFR's, sold my 1991 that I bought new and bought a new 2015. It is my dream bike for sure! I will never sell it! It doesn't have the old gear driven cam V4, but it has the VTEC engine and I love the VTEC!
The VTEC is like having two bikes in one, low RPM, smooth and quiet, anything over 6700RPM it turns into beast mode.

I believe the GL1500SE Gold Wing model was Honda's all time heaviest bike. The old GL15 had a massive steel frame. All newer GL18 models are aluminum frames.

I'm sorry, I didn't see the part where you had to take the seat back off to connect the fuel pump wire harness. You know, so the engine can start. 😜

l like the color but im ol school the green would look better if it was cleared coated dont like the flat looks like its not finished.
Seems odd that most of those components are not put on at the factory .. except say the windscreen and connecting the battery.
More expensive than some of the new 2-bedroom mobile homes where I live.
