The churches of Pyongyang, North Korea (DPRK)

During my summer 2017 teaching assignment in Pyongyang, I was fortunate enough to be able to visit three different churches in the city. Great conversations were had with the resident priests and caretakers !

South Korea were mainly Catholic and Protestant, while North Korea could be mainly Orthodox Christian.

That is not true. Both countries are predominantly non-religious. As for Christian denominations, both countries are mostly Catholic and Protestant. The Orthodox Church in Pyongyang while being beautiful is not attended by many believers, more foreigners than locals visit it.

That Catholic church isn't properly appointed. There's no crucifix nor are there the proper liturgical altar dressings to show the liturgical season.

C64Woody Grissom I also believe the church, named Changchung Cathedral, is not in communion with Rome. The last bishop of the Diocese of Pyongyang was imprisoned in 1949 and never seen again.

I really love North Korea and I want to visit North Korean and the people of North Korea is lovely people and the people of North Korea will be in heaven forever in and I want thank the president of North Korea for leading his country to have a strong relationship with the us and I want to visit North Korea and meet the president of North Korea and I want to meet his beautiful and sexy sister of the North Korea I love her so much

@푸옹 Phuong DPRK Channel Christians die at the hands of men who follow false idols (i.e. the Kim family)
They are not gods they are monsters who have the blood of the innocent on their hands and your leader will burn in hell for his crimes for God punishes the wicked. Christians will rise up in North Korea and will use God's word to fight back against the brain washing and will bring down the Kim Family i only pray that Un will not die but be imprisoned. I pray that he will repent for his sins and turn to Christ otherwise he will burn in hell.
