I visited a 2nd Sphinx above the sand - not needing to be dug up - upon my last visit but it’s eroded and rests in a prohibited area. I had to payoff the guard under the table.
Yeah, 2 questions, why did they rebuild one, but not the other.

There isnt two Sphynx, it is a disection layout of the current Sphynx. If standing in front of the Stella, take a lazer and split the Sphynx in two through its spinw, then open it up like a book, the drawing on the Stela is what you should find.

Did you know that there is such a thing a sand falls, they erode things just like a water fall or water damage, this could explain the so called water damage on the sphinx. Sand damage, sand behaves in a very strange way that I'm beginning to find out. Check it out.
Yeah but there is a difference between sand erosion and water erosion. Just look at sand damage on the Sphinx itself versus the erosion around the enclosure, it’s different.
