List of Seven is a ripping yarn. A literate thriller. The Six Messiahs was the sequel. I was initially disappointed but later realized that it was still excellent, just not as great as List. I felt guilty for the premature end of what might have been a great series...
Just so you know, Mark Frost got a very strange and suspicious vibe from Charlie Rose--I believe he recalled it was the most upsetting intuition he had ever gotten from an interviewer. So you can watch it guilt-free.
@@wheelerainslie6 Even leaving Charlie Rose's later revealed creepy behaviour aside, he's just a terrible interviewer. He comes to every interviewee with a sort of "vague awareness of what they do" energy and has to keep a conversation going based on that for 30 minutes or so.
@@wheelerainslie6 Cheers for the comment. Was just recommended this again, and did watch it this time.. Rose's interview style and contrived demeanour is the reason I skipped last time around. But this was alright, worth it for Frost.

Frost is an underrated genius. It's really sad that mostly people associate Twin Peaks with Lynch, forgetting this brilliant writer.
they were definitely equal partners and created easily one of the best television shows of all time
THEY BOTH REPRESENT THE YIN AND YANG OF TV. MARK THE SUPERNATURAL AND PARANORMAL AND DAVID THE SURREALIST...... A RECIPE FOR PERFECTION
The list of seven is a masterpiece.
It is weird and it is slow: that's why we love it.
I really like the interviewer here, "I liked this movie because it had sex and murder and violence", love the casualness of this

What happened to Charlie Rose
They MeToo’d him 💔
@@AndrewReevesArt"they"? No one made him abuse his position and sexually harrass 8 women. He metoo'd himself by being a lech.
Love Mark Frost but I'm gonna have to skip this cuz it's Charlie Rose.

Did anyone notice how Charlie Rose seems to not be listening and interrupting? Yuck. Not surprised Frost got a bad vibe. So did I.
