Fabulous! My husband and I are planning to go on this cruise when he retires. He was in the Navy for 20 yrs and is a shellback (he’s crossed the equator) so he wants to complete a bucket list item by getting his “blue nose” certificate. Thanks for such great information and fun!
I don't know why, but I've never considered taking a cruise before. This video makes it seem so cool and mellow. I'm kind of on a travelling by train kick right now, but I think I might plan to take a cruise some time next year. Great video!

hehe ... we needed to be careful to consume in moderation, but we do enjoy a glass of sparkling. The real need at the end of the cruise is to reset yourself to your normal meals and not being so well cared for - a spa treatment for this would have been appreciated. Yes, a wonderful trip.
I have long been a Maarten Heilbron fan on TH-cam. I will be on a Transatlantic Viking Cruise in April, 2019. If I had met Maarten on a cruise, I would have pestered him with photography questions all day! Kim, you lucky to have such a talented personal videographer...for free. But you are a captivating narrator as well. Perhaps you should join your husband on his camera channel? ;-)
That was a very nice overview of the ship, the cruise, and the weather. We are hoping to take that cruise next summer (and you can let 'em know that your video pushed us over the edge for our decision). We appreciate the effort you went through to produce that video piece. I have visions of you and your wife having high level discussions each night about what to present the next day. BTW: did Viking introduce you to each of the important crew members? Just curious because the crew seems fairly relaxed and cooperative for your filming (video). Job well done by you, and especially, your wife. Nice presentation.
Thanks, we appreciate your kind words! Editing the video really reinforced what a wonderful trip this was, we’d go again in a heartbeat. There were several media and influencers on this trip, and we did have a meet and greet with the captain and others, but in general I think that’s how everyone is treated - the entire staff is always friendly and helpful, they say hello every time you meet, even just in passing.
Do not usually comment on stuff. I am a subscriber, and I am from the town where she threw the ice-glass in the water. Kind of funny to see cruise-ship tourists from a different point view. Search 'limerot' on Flickr to see many pictures from Northcape municipality. Best of luck with this channel.

What time of year was this please ?
July - the midnight sun cruise is only offered for a few summer cruises. I think there's a northern lights cruise in winter.
