When a caution comes out during green flags pit stops at Talladega, the ai will stay out under caution instead of putting under caution and when the race goes back green they run themselves out of fuel that's why they were really slow.

Before you build a new engine and since your sponsor is in the 60s, you should check to see if you can hire a better engine builder then build a new engine
So here's what I say we resign Nikon as a secondary sponsor it doesn't matter which one And then we signed carquest as the primary sponsor because I think that goal is realistic Also when it comes to garage stuff I think something that improves the car right now like something that helps with tire wear or chassis upgrade or even a body upgrade would be good for the team But I leave that discretion up to you but don't go break bankrupt trying to do it
I think you need to go with the chassis shop upgrades that offer you additional chassis space. Early on I think that’s the most important part so you can give yourself the option of 4 chassis like you have with the engines.
Also with the primary sponsor your bonus per race you finish 25th and up you get your regular pay plus 102k get more shop things and can afford a better team btw fire your team you can hire better ones

These games seemed to have some issues as well. It was mainly with the pit logic. I know I had Nascar Thinder 03 pit the AI twice at Martinsville under green when they just needed to pit once
Can't remember if Thunder '04 lets you adjust steering lock.... but if it does, play around with that to get the desired less edgy steering at the plate tracks (and any other track where you're scrubbing off more speed than you need + too responsive steering)
I know u want to keep Nikon as the primary but for now I would look at going with Motorola as the primary and use Nikon as the secondary...They are still on the car at least
