Its ok the happyness doesnt do anything just bother you that its not 100
Actually happiness does give you a boost productivity of resources
At 90% and above you get a 10% resources boost
I've got 97% happiness! It gives me a bonus on productivity

Halo guy 7 I do put them but it’s currently at max so some dwellers just can’t be placed in there specific role places. Regarding how much I’ve spend. About that I’m not sure.

After all my dwellers maxed out, I rebuilt my vault, it's bad ass, and I kick out about 20 dwellers who aren't maxed out at E7. Then have babies and Max them out at E7.

You asked why the lady is always so sad. Zoom into her room to see if she's saying anything. There's a chance she's complaining about a dead body being in the room. Sometimes it's impossible to find the dead body so you have to rebuild the room!

If you delete the 2nd elevator on the top floor & put a double room there (do not rebuild the elevator on the other side), invading deathclaws will be forced to backtrack through the entire 1st floor (minus the door entrance) because of the way their A.I. pathing works. They almost never make it past the 1st room. I got 1st floor as: entrance, elevator, triple med bay, overseers room, empty space where an elevator could fit (keep that space empty!). Rarely the deathclaws make it to the overseers room & when they do the mr handy just finishes them off.

I got 86 dwellers and 83%happines of vault in one month. I took a pause of this game for about 2 months and now continue to play.
Same kinda thing for me. 140 dwellers with 97% happiness and I left for a while but now I'm back
I've gotten 170 dwellers in a week, they have shit stats, but why so slow?

I genuinely think I've run out of things to do in this game. I've been playing since 2017, have completed all quests, collected all recipes/themes, have reached the build limit, 200 dwellers, 95% happiness rating, dozens of legendary weapons and legendary armors, around 12 Mr. Handys, a huge store of pets, and over 60 dwellers who have completely maxed out stats. The average level of a dweller in my vault is 43, and his average stats are over 7.
You need radio station to keep them happy
(realistically speaking) I feel like the main objective for an overseer is to keep your dwellers happy.
I only have 68 dwellers but they are all level 50 and maxed out on every SPECIAL. They also all have high damage weapons and legendary outfits on, and their happiness is at 98%.
I also only have like 25% of the rooms you have but I feel like I don't really need more.
My dwellers are happy, can fight off anything, and generate more than enough resources to keep them going. Anything else feels kind of useless.

The point of the game is that you’re the overseer you get to design your own vault. Personally I’m just maxing out luck for all the caps

This can't be "maxed out" when some people have SPECIAL still needed to be finished. Also, I am guessing you don't have max because you don't have 199-200 dwellers with max HP, which can only be achieved by insuring you use Heavy Wasteland Gear with a level 10 Endurance character from level 1. You've still got things you can accomplish. Looking forward to seeing an ACTUAL maxed out vault! Cool video, by the way. That is an over abundance of power rooms, by the way, in my opinion. You only need like 4 with maxed Strength gear for all 24 dwellers.

as soon as i can breed consistent legendary/rare dwellers itll pick up pace considerably though

You can get alot more caps much more quickly. Just send 20 or 30 maxed out dwellers with max stim and max rad away and a weapon that does at least 20 dmg on each dweller . Then change the clock to the next day and check on them if their ok then change the clock ahead one day again. Repeat until they need revived and by then they will each have upwards of 15,000 caps each then change time ahead until they come back to the vault and boom you will have more caps than you know what to do with

@@07vellNerdy pretty sure it only works on pc and ps4/ps5 u have to make sure it offline, exit out the game and change your time then open the app again and it should give you the daily caps if it's worked.

The only think happiness does is give a small percentage boost on food/water/elec and time on builds, 1-10% happiness is 10% boost and 90-100% is a 1% boost, it also follows the trend for Inbetween

Your Energy is bad because your resources are spread out. Eliminate some power rooms and fill each one with max number of workers. Then after a while decide if you need more or less power plants

Did you max out their endurance before leveling them up to 50? Cus apparently that drastically changes their max health.
A character maxing E first before reaching lvl50 has higher health than a character reaching level 50 and then maxing their E

I have the dragon maw equipped to most vault dwellers on 1st floor. The heavy weapons typically list the highest damage but that's spread out across all enemies. The raiders/ deathclaws never make it past the second lol for me.

Well I've been building my vault all wrong.. fucking dope
That is NOT what i call Maxed Out. When you have dwellers breed and the kids have reached adulthood you take those level 1 adults and train their ENDURANCE first to level 10 and in that way the damage resistance grows more levels until you reach level 50. It is the amount of levels grown while already at level 10 endurance that brings their total health to MAX. Besides that, dragon's maw is the strongest weapon and you will need Legendary outfits for everyone specefied to the room they are working in. I have a vault like that with 154 dwellers, all born within the vault and Maxed out all specials before they had to work. The entrance could be better with more handymans taking the heat instead of dwellers risking death. All you have to do is... Evict all dwellers that are not born within the Vault(i use the salon to customize so i can keep track of the different generations while growing. You might wanna give it a try sometimes. Still lots of respect for playing FAshelter this long. Greeting from the Netherlands.

The people in your vault are so sad! Not good! I have 193 people in my vault and it's at 98% happiness when Mr. Cappy comes by. Even when he's not around, it's still at 88%. I expected better.

Try aiming for an organised and compact vault at the beginning when you get more established it will cost less to organise it. I use
3-3-2 lift in between. I have 132 dwellers.

Why not max out all of your characters? I almost have all 200 characters maxed out for special attributes

It’s very inefficient vault I did 2 quests to get mr handys and I need only 2 floor to power the whole vault with food and power. The rest is storage and other things

So I accidentally built the entire underground section with I don't know what one section was the living quarters and ever searching was the power plant and then the remaining space as I just ran up them on with whatever I could anything I could find I would make one of it bad things that is going to hit the fan as my luckily as my power plant as I needed more power supply just built I don't know how many it's been about 5 level 3 power plants and then also water and food and then I did the rest of Medway Centre and everything

Training people for too long makes them depressed. I have 193 people in my vault and honestly I don't even need to max out anyone. Everyone is happy.

Frenkyipod well, this layout prevents raids from outside. It’s one of the better one I’ve seen regarding a defensive build.
The best defensive layout is to put power rooms on top. +S deals more damage.
Joselito Pascual, Strength doesn’t affect the damage output drastically, only a tiny bit that is often unnoticeable. In fact, regarding defense in the vault, the only stat that matters is endurance period. Regarding questin, though, Perception, endurance, agility, and luck will help a bunch. In conclusion, strength is only really useful for power production. If you don’t believe me, there is some solid research on the topic.

You can raise a dweller's happiness to 100% by putting a female and a male in the living centre (or whatever its called) once they start making out, their happiness gets raised to 100%
My vault is maxed also buuuuuuut I played every fall out games in PC and android
I wouldn't say this is the best layout, its not very efficient, best efficiency per space for science/med labs is a 2 space room, you dont need that many resource gatherers as well its overkill. there's practically no storage in this base a good amount to get is 12 x 3space storage rooms to get 2000 storage. for your dwellers that are gonna be doing quests/roaming the most important aspect is training them from level 1-50 with 17 endurance so they get the max hp you can rename them so you know which ones are hp maxed something like "17E Darren", fastest way to level is sending your dweller out to the wasteland but since we need them to hold onto the endurance outfit if you dont have the 7E outfit they will likely replace the outfit with something they pick up

Can someone please tell me the best way to get food water and power because I get all above green then 20 minutes later it's back down and I can't get more dwellers by the baby strategy because I can't let my dwellers stop working or else my base will shutdown
You may have a lot of dwellers, I have 193 at this point, so my power is always going to be a little low. However, if you build enough food and water, and have enough high strength people, your vault will be just fine.
