Hi Charles, Thank you for your message and for your advice. Much appreciated. It certainly does work well and we are doing our best to get it out there as this is great for all of us. With societies our statistics are awful with injuries. Doors are destructive and with this device it will change. Doors are costing us in more ways than one. Not working or closing properly. Repairs of any type have a cost to it. We have also got the door to make just about no noise at all in normal use. Just one example my daughter caught her hand in the door at the start of summer holidays. Ended a fun exciting time for us but we were thank full of no permanent damage. Incidents like this you do not get a second chance where it is common also. A product with meaning.

The seems flawed. People don't always push doors like that. They usually grab on to the handle and close the door while they are going out. People usually look for the door to close. The door won't close so people will slam it. If people _do_ slam the door, does this have enough resistance to prevent slamming? If people slam the door, and it still has enough force, it makes this useless.
vshah1010 Hi there. The reason the door was pushed like is due to no wind. In a house or apartment you get a suction as well if a window or another door is open. This product has been tested for this and works well. There is enough resistance for the door to stop the momentum before it get to a the diaphragm where it is sucked closed. There is enough resistance for the door not to close on quite a windy day on a west coast property in New Zealand where the prominent wind is a westerly and is exposed to the conditions. Perfect conditions for testing. Without the product the doors are violent. Dangerous. That’s how exposed it is., Makes this useless?? People do slam doors like this. Congested living and hearing a door slam long enough has even led to fights. People with bad anxiety.PTSD. Even get my heart rate up when I hear it. Damages created by slams. Broken glass. Hard on the structure. Some feed back we got they were lock in because the hardware fail to work. The reason this became apparent is a 5 year old and her hand in the door!! The statistics are there and the damages are real. Worse result. Amputations and especially under 5 s. In New Zealand we have a accident medical for everyone. The statistics went up 5 million in one year. New claims and existing claims went from 23 million to 28 million with ongoing treatment!! Your comment makes this is useless did annoy me! For someone to have an epiphany on how something would work and where someone else has done the R&D your over 10 years now is beyond me! Do you do this often? Good things take awhile. Made in New Zealand. Better to have then not to have. Would I still have a finger if I had one of these? Or a quieter surroundings because people have to close a door not flick it shut!
