The 80's for the 80cc class was amazing. The big 4 were putting in a lot of research and coming out with cool bikes. The KX was killing it for most of the decade, but in '86 the CR took over for a bit.
@@mickmorrison1908 I remember my dad paid $1100 for my RM brand new, in May of 85 as a left over 84 model. I kept it 5 years and sold it for $750 to a guy that bought it for his girlfriend. It was very close to mint when I sold it. Wish I kept it, looking back.
Had a new 84 RM80 back in the day. The big 4 all put out some great bikes. Good times and many hours ripping up the trails.

Had a 1984 YZ80L still kicking myself for virtually giving it away all those years ago. 😳👎👎

Had a cr 60 as a kid very similar looking. ! Had some fun on that little rocket.
Absolutely gorgeous!! I had 2 growing up. Would love to get one for the young lad
Buddy had that exact bike. It was fun as hell to ride. Later i had an 83 cr 480. Fun too but in a different way
The '83 was a much better bike than the '82. 5'speed gearbox and adustable forks. Nice bike.
@angrytater2456 wish I had it still. Looking at a maico 490 now
@@spacecat7247 You cannot go wrong. They call those sand spiders? Or is that a certain year? Those and the Husky twin shock beasts are awesome.
