Just got this delivered to me today and is my first FPV drone. All that time I have spent in my sims trying to prepare me for the real thing is not enough lol. Simply amazed at how much power and sensitive this little guy is. Trying to maintain throttle is the biggest challenge. It takes off straight up like a rocket with the slightest push up on the stick. Going to have to find a very big field to practice in. I can tell this thing will be a blast once I get a hang of it though. Mine came with 2 full sets of props as well.
This onboard footage reminds me of my first fpv, the geprc s16,I'm so glad I am fortunate enough to have switched to HD drones early in my fpv journey,the difference in video quality is like watching an 80's pirated video and a full on 4k dvd lol

Wow, reminds me a lot of my Tinyhawk 2 freestyle. Only downside to quads these size are if it is at all windy, you'll be knocked around in the air. Would be great for bando rippin' in a single room. I like that it has an xt30 rather than the ph2.0
Thing is pretty sweet! I have four 5 inch quads. I need to start my little quad collection. You can basically fly it anywhere. Im sure my neighbors love when im flying my quad 100mph over their houses 😂

You did that right. While SPI receivers are convenient, if you want to get some distance, use a external RX on a UART.

Unfortunately I have never found gloves that allow me to operate joysticks well for FPV drones, so when I fly in the winter I remove my thick gloves and slip on a pair of skin tight gloves that are good for a few minutes before I need to put the warmer gloves back on.
This thing is cool they need a Vista version or 03 AU!!
Did they really intend to call it Draknight or was that a typo?
Who knows. Drones from Asia often have Asian names that don't translate well to English.

It’s name in Chinese is 龙骑士, which means Dragon Knight if translated directly into English. And I think they just don’t have enough space to put “gon” in its product name.

How easily would it be to bind this to a radio master pocket? Will the fact that the elrs version is spi make a big difference?
It would bind easy to any ELRS receiver as long as the receiver and transmitter (the Pocket) are on the same firmware.

I received my draknight yesterday, and it seems the wing part has been upgraded to aluminum.. Haven't tested for now,
Just got my draknight today. Very nice looking out of the box. Waiting on batteries and elrs controller.
No manual is included in the box and the link provided leads only to a chinese manual. I'll text support. Maybe they have updated by now.
FPV drones rarely come with manuals as they are very straightforward.

Hello Steve. Do you happen to have the CLI dump of the Draknight or know of a FPV community that may have it? BetaFlight 'reset' my Draknight one day and I don't know the settings for the camera and the rear lights.
If I had a penny for everytime time someone new to the FPV hobby clicked on the Betaflight update button and then asked me for a dump file, I’d be a rich man for certain and have no time to do anything else. Whenever I make Betaflight configuration videos I warn people of this because people who come from the DJI world or similar type drones have grown up on constantly clicking firmware update buttons. Don’t do this in the FPV hobby. Every FPV drone company knows first timers will do this so those companies usually provide the dump file on their website in the downloads section. If you can’t locate it then simply email them and ask for it. Good luck!

Great video! Why do all Americans and Canadians have carpet in the living room?
In Canada we have it due to cold winters. Even if we have hardwood floors, we will throw a rug over them as it is warm on the feet during the colder months.
How does this compare to the flywoo 2s 2.0 ?
What sort of vtx range with the rtf bundle should one expect? I’m new to fpv, and I can’t even travel a .25 acre without so much white noise that I can hardly see. I guess it could be an interference issue but also wondering if there’s something not right?
It sounds like you may have come from the Beginner GPS Camera drone world where you are stuck with the drone you get in the box. In the FPV Drone hobby it is up to you to modify your drone in any capacity you wish. So if you want longer range, and you can't increase the output power, and you don't want to replace the VTX, you then replace the antenna on the VTX and on your goggles to increase reception. If your drone drone has no antenna to replace, well that is your problem.

So, with stuff included in the kit, I am not getting anywhere near the range you are getting in this video. I’m assuming that is because of your goggles then? I think that’s basically the only difference with respect to video quality. No issue with control. Just becomes white interference in the video at very short range.

Which would you recommend this drone or the EMAX tinyhawk III? I plan to get analog. This would be my first FPV drone I have flown line of sight drones before.
The TinyHawk is a great little quad, but it has ducts, so is a different category then this one. If you are going to be flying inside, go with the TinyHawk. If your going to be outside, go with this one, or a TinyHawk Freestyle.

@@jamesburns8722 I have never flown this one, so can not speak to its quality. I have had a few of the TH Freestyle, and they are a blast. They have been around for years, a quality manufacturer, pieces are easily replaceable, can run on 1s or 2s. Light and nimble, they make the smallest parks seem huge.
I find all EMAX analog small drones have limited range, with early breakup.

I only started flying FPV when digital was introduced as I didn’t like the look of analog but this is temping 😅
Digital is great, but analog will always be around for the small stuff. With a good VTX and camera, analog can be enjoyable.
Love this drone got it when it came out change the props to more racey props now it super fast

did yours have terrible vibration? did you have to return yours? mine did not fly well out of the box. but that could just be mine.
What you saw in my review video is the quad straight out of the box. Any FPV drone with vibrations is simply due to the props.

@@anthonycadejr3995Again… I simply set up the MODES, OSD and VTX TRANSMISSION in BETAFLIGHT CONFIGURATOR. If none of that makes sense then you really need to do some research and learn how to use that software because that is the software everyone in the FPV hobby has to use.
It makes sense just need to know what steps you took in betaflight vtx tab to unlock vtx can't get R8 or any channels past 5 to show without flashing your video is great . On mine all channels past five don't especially R band that's what I need to use r8 to stay above wifi stay in a high wifi area thx for taking your time out highly appreciated thx

So what im understanding is that these particular exposed drones cant be flown even through mist, let alone slight drizzle. Those exposed circuit board is saying, come here water. Ruin me.

Rain, certainly not as you'd probably fry the VTX first. Mist, should not be an issue. Back in the day all circuit boards were fully exposed to the environments and we all flew all year round in all types of weather.
Don't understand the motors on 2in. Companies use,I fly my 2in. 2s on at least 1103's,way way better
I would immediately buy it if it was available in walksnail!
It certainly could be converted to add walksnail, but I'd guess the price would increase by $75
