- 🎥 IN THIS EPISODE → We visited Anchor Down RV Resort in Dandridge Tn. Located in the Foothills of the Smoky Mountains. The resort was spotless and huge! We took our E-bike and toured the resort to show it's layout. We ate at our favorite seafood place and cooked sausage gravy for breakfast. Our fireside chat was about HOPE.

This is a long one. Sorry. Okay, this is the last time I'm going to say this, but it still just breaks my heart when you open that van door and no Big T. 💔 😪
That campground looked amazing. Mike, I'm with you when it comes to the pine trees. The needles and sap gets on your vehicle and you have to get it off or it will ruin your paint. So make sure you get it all off you van and don't forget the top. I'd rather have no trees than pine trees. The views that our God created were beautiful. The seafood looked good, but the sausage gravy, biscuits, and eggs looked better. Thanks for tempting us with more gravy.😆 Thanks for the wonderful fire side chat. It's always great and uplifting. I hate when they sell green wood. Don't they know green wood will not burn? Sometimes they sell that processed wood. It doesn't burm either. My prayers continue for you and continued prayers for my dad while he is still adjusting to the new assisted living facility. I have to snicker about Mike saying no to the prayer. When we were real young, we used to have a friend of ours that their son would always start eating before we said the prayer. So they would make him say the prayer and he would say, "thank you Lord for the food that we are about to partake and the food that we have already partaken." 😁 We would all laugh every time. My mom would say at least he remembered to include the food he had already ate. Oh, the good old days. Thanks for sharing. Be safe, have fun, and God Bless. My son was on a waiting list in 2021 and had to wait until this year to get a site. He has a large 5th wheel. He said this was the nicest place he had seen. He already reserved for next year. 😊

Sausage gravy. Last Wednesday morning my wife made some sausage gravy for the first time directly based on your recommendation. It isn't something popular here in our area but dang if it wasn't really good. Poured it over the biscuits and we enjoyed. We love to watch y'all. Peace be with you and family

I wish we had known you were there, we would have dropped by. We can be there in 30 minutes. We enjoy site 29 on the other side from where you were at. You need to buy that girl her own bike.

Love sausage n gravy, however, I use almond flour now and cream cheese to thicken or xantham gum. Been a little over two years since going on keto, and the payoff has been wonderful. I’ve learned that there are substitutions for most of my favorite dishes and desserts. We hope to visit Dandridge next year. Have a wonderful new week ahead -:) God Bless.

Great video! We stay at Anchor Down twice a year. We will be back again May 2024. We just returned from Camp Margaritaville RV Resort in Pigeon Forge. It was nice but my ♥️ is on Lake Douglas. We like to rent a boat slip in the spring. It's affordable but hard to get into that park. We have to book 2 years in advance.

Kyle walked into the living room yesterday as I was watching y’all’s video, and he said, “Whoa, where are they?!” We both were in awe of how breathtakingly beautiful this campground is! 😍 I mean, a lake and mountain views?! 😮 Absolutely gorgeous!!! I would love to stay there sometime! Also loved the fireside chat, and y’all’s breakfast looked amazing. Those high-dollar marshmallows looked really tasty too!

We’ve stayed at Anchors Down numerous times and love everything about it. The longest we’ve stayed is 3 weeks which was wonderful as we ventured all the area around the Smokies. We love to get out in nature and not into the touristy areas so much. It was great to see Anchors Down and look forward to staying there again next year.

We have stayed at Anchor Down and loved it. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The laundry facilities are clean too. Can't wait to go back in the summer so we can get in the lake.

What do you use to remove the pine sap? Anything special? I love the smell of the pines but the sap is definitely an issue!
Our van has a protectant coating on it but just some elbow grease and soap.
Mike never found a marshmallow he doesn't like. I put a drop of milk to cool the hot chocolate down a little. My wife and I had hot chocolate at b k on our first date 53 years ago.

My son ordered $50 worth of food and receive someone else's order that was about $10 worth of food you want to see somebody mad it took him a couple of weeks before it was taken care of it was finally he got his money back and all was forgiven but not at that moment
