Not much to say about this one, it's the album version of Der Bergentrückung ASGORE, most of the mix is the same as the original release, except that this one does not have any voice acting and the drum and guitar sounds are slightly different, hope you like it!

I remember the day after my son died.
The entire underground was devoid of hope.
The future had once again been taken from us by the humans.
In a fit of anger, I declared war.
I said that I would destroy any human that came here.
I would use their souls to become godlike...
...and free us from this terrible prison.
Then, I would destroy humanity...
And let monsters rule the surface, in peace.
Soon, the people's hopes returned.
My wife, however, became disgusted with my actions.
She left this place, never to be seen again.
Truthfully... I do not want power.
I do not want to hurt anyone.
I just wanted everyone to have hope...
I cannot take this any longer.
I just want to see my wife.
I just want to see my child.
I feel that this is more suited to Asgore's personality and position of being the King because he seems quite classical and relaxed but he has to make a lot of hard decisions so the drums(?) and cymbals(?) add an intense effect.

Sounds amazing, as usual! I’m glad you removed the bit where Asgore talks. It was a bit cool at first, but then it got annoying when I was actually just trying to listen to the music.

Like I said on the other one of this that has the voice of asgore, this is One of the best covers I've ever heard, I would absolutely LOVE (hehe puns) if u made covers for each boss song, I know it would take a lot of effort but I promise you that I will support you all the way
My favorite version of my favorite video game song. I find the rhythm and overall feel a lot better than Megalovania, which is odd to a lot of people, but it's just inexplicable
tbh I'd compare it to the feeling of fighting a Bonus Boss ('i wanna beat this crazy thing' vs a Main Story Boss ('I wanna finish the story I've been following'), plus the whole some has a specific context and feel to Asgore himself that really fits.
1:45 to 2:01 is a bit of Megalovania though... so it can't be TOO bad. :P
Never got why people think that part is supposed to be megalovania, it's not, it's just a generic rock part I added, but it's not meant to be a megalovania reference at all, different rhythm, different chord progression lmao.
Cloudjumper I love the drum and guitar solo. The reason why people compare that part to Megalovania is because Megalovania does the same type of solo as this part.

I love this so much. You did this song (or these songs, I guess) a lot of justice!! I was prepared to be picky since it's one of my very favorites on the soundtrack, but nah. You pretty much nailed it. As well as being a lovely remaster, it really suits Asgore as a character, I think.
