Great camera work. How does it work in the wild when there is a flap over the nest, does she just uncover them and stand over the top? Does she pull out her own gut to make the nest? I’m so intrigued.
There is a wild babies rabbits nest in in my backyard, and I haven’t seen mom came to nurse the babies, what your advice ? Because I’m afraid they may die, thanks for the video

My Netherlands dwarf rabbit just had 3 kits, she keeps going in cleaning them and feeds them five times a day contrary to what everyone says once or twice a day which is from when rabbits used to be wild they do that to lessen the chance of her attracing predators with her scent, so looks like my rabbit is so at ease in my house she is not doing that, she even saw one of her 5-day-old kits today come out of the nesting area so she went and licked him or her until it crawled all the way back to the others, more like a cat.
My rabbit just have birth last night luckily the dad was split up but i haven’t seen her feed them however the babies aren’t a day old but they are so energetic so i’m still not 100% sure and this is the first time i’ve ever had a rabbit give birth. im so nervous
My marshmallow just had 8 babies. Rabbits are such good momma's 🥰

I breed and raise rabbits and I actually have never seen any of my females feeding their young, they’re very elusive about it!

I always put my nesting boxes in on the 20th day so they have plenty of time to get it like they want it.
Mine refuse to even start building a nest until like thirty minutes before the give birth lol, they’re procrastinators.
