I'm a woman and I recently got a "cat" or "bulldog" self-defence keychain, the eyeholes are the finger holes and the ears become the points, its made of aluminium. I've never had any kind of exposure to this stuff and I was wondering. Two holed brass knuckles or anything of the sort, are they always supposed to be held with the index and middle finger? My first instinct was to centre it and hold it with my middle and ring finger. Just want to make sure I'm holding it properly to prevent any self-injury and increase outward damage :)

Considering your are supposed to punch with the first two largest knuckles first, never ring and pinky unless you want to break them
