Emily, you're right. However,sometimes I see teachers spell it falap just to emphasize the two sounds. I spell it flap, but I definitely say "fa-lap" when teaching. I like the step!

Very cool! Will be using for my national tap dance day class, just letting you flap is the proper spelling for your description :)
