Donington Park - Crash and Action - MSVR Weekend - April 2024

The action from the recent MSVR race weekend at Donington Park, which took place on the national layout of the circuit. The headliner for this event was the GT Cup, and as I'm sure many of you are aware by now, GT racing just isn't my thing (and unfortunately still isn't). However, all of the 'support' races looked pretty good to me, which is what persuaded me to go to this event; it's safe to say I'm glad I did because the racing was fantastic! We had a fair few incidents throughout the weekend, more so on the Crainer Curves themselves as apposed to the usual spins at the old hairpin. One notable accident was two Porsches colliding, giving us two brand new three wheeled cars...

#06:44 Just calling it as I see it - but an extremely high price to pay for not being a bit more decisive in picking a left or right past a spinning car. I feel like there was time to commit either side but looks like indecision for the better of him. You can always hope the spinning car won't "be there" when you get there, but sometimes they just are.
