    4,000+ views! Bukit Bintang is a really cool area though. One of my favorite areas in KL....probably for most people.

    These are 3 unique features in kL which you can't find anywhere else in other cities around the world :
    1. KL China town is the only China town in this whole wide world with a Hindu temple in it.. the Sri Mahamariamman Temple built in the 1800s.
    2. KL is the only city in the world which has a forest reserve smack in the middle of the city. The Bukit Nenas forest reserve.
    3. This third one is the most unique.. if you notice on the map of the world, France and England are just next to each other separated by a body of water called the English Chanbel( La Manche). So *HERE in KL* as well, the French Embassy and the British high Commission are just next to each other across the street like in the map. So the the street separating both the embassies, so we nick name it *The English Channel (La Manche)*

    travelers, please also come to the bangsar south area. cool and comfortable place for afternoon tea and shopping. how to get there? take LRT to the university station or kerinchi station, then via the direct 200m bridges to the bangsar south area.

      KLCC Petronas twin towers is so iconic that it is now included as a world site. We have out very own Bukit Bintang Walk which is unique in itself and now it's connected with an elevated walk way to the iconic KLCC and the wonderful park. Then there is the KL Tower and it's annual base jump.

    • @vincentfong2535

      Agree, but we do have our own landmarks as well. They just need to be marketed better and better way-finding to get visitors and locals there

      @TreiHutchinson 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      We dont need to copy others, we need to chart our own style and character of modernisation so that if one sees KL they wouldn't go saying "Oh its like so and so" We want them to say "Wow KL has it's own soul and attraction which one couldn't find it else where".. This is KL..

      @secrets.295 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No need to copy others. We should hv our own identity. We do however need to learn from other more developed cities how to properly plan our city. I do think KL over the past 10 years have stepped up to the plate and becoming more aggressive on making the city planning becomes much more efficient In my opinion traffic in KL has greatly dropped compared to 10-20 years ago. But more should be done.
