Every department I worked in, had more of a 90% rate of people getting paid to just fill in seats and there were so very few employees that actually cared and did the work needed to keep the department running. In each department, there was only one or two employees that did the actual work. There were maybe, another person or two that did a half assed job from time to time. They always considered themselves as major contributors to getting the job done. From reading your response, I might guess that you landed in that second category. The job could have been easily done with some true, honest, hard working people and get rid of all the welfare employees like yourself.

Creating programs like the domiciliary were they treat mental health and substance use and get these veterans back on their feet. Summer service connected and actually get a nice amount of money coming in monthly. And it supplements any work that they do they still get that service connection pay. The big question is why are the veterans homeless in the first place and often sadly it's often tied to mental health conditions in substance use. I have worked from home, and l have worked from an office. I worked longer hours when l worked from home. Yet, l know more people who take advantage when working from home.

I’m an insurance adjuster that works remote. My entire team works remote and we are extremely efficient. The closest office is 4 hrs from me. I think if you are not efficient you should be fired.

Depends on the integrity of the staff. I know our Company works remotely and keeps tabs on us to make sure we are working. We are more efficient (less people get sick because no one coming to the office knowing they are sick & contagious), can focus better without constant distractions of team members stopping by to chat. Required to have cameras ON during meetings and we have mandatory in-person meetings once a quarter. So far, so good.

I would love to find a work at home job. I have been disabled since 2001 due to illness. Losing my best earning years, having now reached retirement age. I work remote and I have a sense of comraderie, accountabilitya and regular feedback and interaction with my peers and management. Working on site for the sake of working on-site is silly for computer based positions, ie HR, recruiting, Admin, finance, etc.

Wrong, wrong & wrong with Telework!! I get more done at home!! You have NO idea what you are talking about.. I get less done at work!! Too much drama, noise & chaos! There is Zero reason for me there.. and if the reason is buying lunch then Brian is even more dumb than we all thought.. I pack just as I eat at home.. and regardless that is crap! And how bout traffic & pollution?? I used to drive an hour each way! Workers for where is work get More work items done & faster .. it’s already been studied! This is using technology to save tax $$! Get rid of All the empty buildings, that’s the answer.. telework should be 80% & seniority based (new employees at smaller offices until gain adequate experience).

I work remote and I have a sense of comraderie, accountabilitya and regular feedback and interaction with my peers and management. Working on site for the sake of working on-site is silly for computer based positions, ie HR, recruiting, Admin, finance, etc.
