There's no simple answer to this. I think the term 'beginner' has changed a lot in recent years, as beginners who start bouldering indoors naturally find themselves on far more technical ground than a beginner of yesteryear, who might have started on lower grade routes outside. As such, the answer is that they could be suitable for you if you're looking to progress, but the big caveat is whether or not they fit, so try someone on and that'll likely answer your question.
