- Tired of seeing the default ai Man buses or vehicles from the ai list that came with your map in Omsi 2? Well luckily changing the ai list in Omsi 2, which includes both the ai cars that appear on the map you are playing as well as the ai buses, is actually quite easy to change. In this Omsi 2 tutorial video, I show you how you can change the ai list of any map in Omsi 2, so that you can have the ai cars and buses that you want driving around in the map, rather than the default ones that come with your map.

This video has helped me quite a lot since and now I have a Dublin Bus takeover! However I do have one problem with the AI list. Apparently I wanted V3D's B7TL ALX400 in my AI list but when I load a map, it doesnt show however all of the other buses like the MS G3 Pack show up. I followed all of your step except the ALX400 just doesn't want to show up. What should i do?
Glad it helped. I would look at a map that has the B7TL ALX400 in its air list already and copy that pathing.
@@TransportEnthusiast I've found an AI list that has the B7TL for Cotterell however that one doesn't seem to work

Apparently when I first install the B7TL, I accidentally dragged the ''Vehicles'' folder in it into the actual OMSI ''Vehicles'' folder which lead to OMSI being confused Alternatively, I dragged the B7TL into the initial OMSI ""Vehicles'' folder that was already there and now it works!

Hello! Thank you for the video. I have 2 questions. First, I only have the number registrations for most of the buses, I don't have something like "SP20 RIG" at 8:27. I got it work on a different bus, but the only problem,that the passengers are not getting up for either of the AI buses. Can you help me solute this? Btw,the video was good, thanks for it.
Yeah, you can skip bus numbers. So can have it empty, it just needs to be tab once for regs (might bus number can't remember order) tab twice for repaint. So can tab twice and just gave repaint. It is not compulsory to include regustrations.
If you changed the ai list and passe gers are not getting on, either just chance at that stop or might be omsi 2 bugging. Passengers getting on ai bus determined by editor not ai list.

Same, but they don't really matter. You can let them as they are or change the number but ONLY the number, not also the letters
I do all the steps and I have the 4gb patch but when I load into the game, the buses don't show up and the map just has no AI vehicles?
What day do load in game and what time?

Monday ro Friday for most routes. A lot of UK maps have barely any routes running on Sundays.

You need to see what depot assogned to in editor and you might need to change uit there

Omsi 2 is terrible. I have given up on the game as it randomly breaks, it has become a lot worse this year.
Hey man i installed the citaro facelift uk bus for an ai but the destination says not in service and displays the route number how do i fix this is for Scunthorpe 2020
Add the Scunthorpe 2020 hof to the citaro folder.

No, editor is if you want to assign a new ai group.
How do you see which route you are changing on London map???? I have opened the notepad but half of it is just bus names and numbers and I don't want to change anything in case I change the wrong route. x
You don't since it is not usually grouped by route.

You just use the path that is for the g3 in the vehicles folder.

Can you use your own registration plates and fleet numbers?
You can. They are the first and second line in script respectively before the repaint. You just need to add them in the regs and nos notepad file in the bus folder.
Is there a way I can make a certain type bus do certain routes, for example I want a enviro 200 MMC to do the 37 on Scunthorpe and a street deck on the 31?
There is, however unless they have seperate ai lists selected in the map editor already, it becomes more complicated, as you have to change stuff in the editor. In Scunthorpe I think all the 30 (31, 32, 37 & 38) series routes are interworked. What you would need to do, is go into the map editor and under routes ir tracks or trips (can't remember exact name) select tours and find line 31, under line 31 create a new ai group, the name of the ai group will also have to be inserted into the hof file, the same would have to be done for route 37. Hope this helps, sorry if it is a bit confusing hard to explain without visuals and if I am truly honest going off vague knowledge here for this part.

@@Enviri Process is the same, just a matter of figuring out which routes are operated by which fleet list, but have a felling for Strathshire it is all the one ai group for all routes.
That would make sense. So 49 would be one with the 400 mmc in the ai list.
question: How do I put the articulated ones if they have 2 files? I am trying to put the MB Citaro Hybrid and I do not know which file. Thank you!
File reference should be the .bus file
@@TransportEnthusiast i know, but the files are named with trail and main and (.bus). Happily I've found the solution, I've placed the main.bus file and it works very good. Thank you very much for the tutorial, it helped alot!
Unfortunately the electric busses aren't working in the AI lists since the Regs file doesn't have too many numbers, but it's ok, atleast the busses I wanted are working.

@@TransportEnthusiast does it works? Because apparently with the AI list my game is kinda ruined, I had to verify files for alot of times and tried to remake the ai list as I want but it didn't work. I will try later maybe, but if what you're saying about the regs is true then I will put it

Yes, requires creation of new ai groups in ai list and the adding them under the timetaboes in the editor.
Would it work if I used fake reg number and bus number and removed on of the bus that would be using it

They should if you did. Ai list might have broken itself, omsi 2 can do that sometimes. Maybe a retry is the go to
I found my fleet list in omsi but I have no local disk what do I do

anyone know how to edit the ai and livery of the addon london busses, because for me it only loads the drivable routes with the one livery and doesn't have any other livery, how do i fix this
You probably have reduced ai list enabled in settings.

oh and one more thing, it has occured to me that my london map had been using the low CFG ai list, i changed the reduced ai list settings but its still the same

I can try, but would take me a while to do. I am guessing you are trying to figure out whhere each route is found in the ai list? I myself can not remember exactly but the 12 and 22 were together. The 6 is on its own in Hornsby. The 10, 11, 33 and 34 were together I think and the the 37 and 38 are together. If you want to make each route have a different ai bus, then you have to use the editor and that is a but more complicated.

In theory yes as it reads the one
I mean like how many different varieties you can add e.g adding streetlite then the next group you add a new bus as I do not see all of my ai buses
@zainthe_c00lkid29 as much as you like, but game is limited by 32 bit so if you add too many game might have texture issues

This tutorial is USELESS and I am still waiting for the CORRECT VIDEO on HOW TO INSTALL OSMI 2 for the yellow school buses in the state of VIRGINIA
You do realise the process is the same for all buses. No one will make a video for how to download a specific bus, as that would yield little views and is pointless considering it is same way.

You need to use Winrar or 7zip to open it. Also some download filesay not be legitimate depending on where you download them from
