About a month ago I did a pair of roughly 240 km rides, with one day of rest in between, because I wanted to see if I could do it, and because I want to take it one step further and do them back to back in the spring. I found my power meter to be very useful to ensure that I stayed within my energy budget so I could last the whole ride. In the end I averaged about 24 km/h, which is more or less the same speed as I get on short 30- or 60 minute rides.

I bought mine to even out my power on both legs. It was amazing how much I was favoring one leg over the other.
AND it allows you to get on online environments like zwift.
These things are amazing. I’ve only charged mine three times in the first year, and I ride a LOT.
A friend is a Garmin rep, and he told me to get them rather than the Garmin pedals. Saved me a ton.

Nice Channel. I'm not new to cycling but getting more serious. I just bought A trek SL5 gravel bike but 75% of my training is done on the road. So investing more time to become competitive I am opting for these pedals. I can only afford UNO. I have a Garmin Edge computer. Does Favero only record information if you have your smart phone app going. Will the info recorded on the ride transfer over to that app on the phone? Thanks.

In fact, FTP and LT are the same (or MLSS). FTP was even defined as power output at maximum lactate steady state by Coggan.
It is quite safe using LT value for setting up your FTP.
Oppositely, FTP is not one hour mean maximum power nor 95 % of 20 min max average.

Any thoughts about IQ2 power meter? Only 200 EUR , just stick to your crank and you ready to go. They promise to start shipping next month for pre-orders. So I guess begging next year everyone can buy IQ power meter just for 200 EUR. To good to be true?

no the app is only for firmware updates and checking battery, you might be able to check the battery on your head unit im not sure) but you can calibrate and change crank arm length on the head unit

Xplod's 3 bearing MTB spd pedal bodies will fit on the assioma axles. Remove dust cover, remove 9mm nut, slide road pedal body off, regrease axle, slide SPD pedal body on, install 9mm nut, replace dust cover. Done.
It's a hack, and not supported by assioma or Xplod, but it works.
