Actually, you don't need to hold the balloon's neck with one hand as you blow. After you get a few breaths into it, hold the balloon's bulb with a hand on each side of it and simply let the blow back keep the neck firm between your lips. You can even inhale through your mouth without losing control of the neck so long as you keep its lip behind your teeth (that's what the little round hem is for) while inhaling through the sides of your mouth, though it's more effective to inhale through your nose, keeping your lips sealed around the neck. Even you snarks who sneered at this video probably have been doing it all wrong.

It’s hard to understand but blow as if your blowing only downwards to the entrance of the balloon then instead of blowing just slowly to see if it gets bigger blow a burst of continuous air like without stopping then it will grow now it’s only missing to still have air left to blow it even bigger(edit)if you feel you don’t have air after you already made it bigger pinch the tip like close the air coming out and then breath through your nose and blow again)

I've never been able to inflate a balloon---even in my prime. But your video is so very informative. I'm inspired to run out and buy a bag of balloons and try the techniques you offer here.
