Let me show you how to blow up a long balloon with a easy to understand tutorial.
If you ever bought modelling balloons and tried to inflate them using your mouth, you have probably remember that you weren't able of doing that!
So what's the secret of people that do manage to inflate these 260 balloons with their mouth? What is their method of being able to inflate these long balloons with their mouth?
In short - There is no way to inflate these long balloons with your mouth without practicing again and again before you'll be able to make it.
A great way of practicing it, is to inflate a USED balloon with your mouth again and again (a used balloon is easier to inflate). After practicing it for a period with a used balloon, you'll be able to inflate a new long balloon with your mouth.
In order to make a used balloon you have to use an external device (like a pump) that will inflate the balloon for you, and then, after the balloon is blown up, take the air out of it.

For me when I started inflating balloons by mouth I started off inflating round, then punch balls, then long, then wiggly and then modelling.
Almost passed out after first try. Lol

Thank you for your tips! My girlfriend loves balloons and sausage dogs so I bought a pack of them to make a bunch of balloon sausage dogs to decorate the room with, planning to blow them all up just by myself... I could never have imaged what a silly idea that was xD xD

How do you blow up the rest without all the air going down your throat- it's a little hard but I managed to get half a balloon!
The second half of the balloon is harder to inflate by mouth...
I can only recommend practicing again and again, until your mouth muscles will be strong enough to handle it

It was never very easy, but I agree it was easier because back then balloons were thinner and therefore easier to inflate
Sooooo...to blow up the balloon with your mouth, you have to use a pump first and then blow up the balloon with your mouth...if you had a pump you wouldn't need to blow it up with your mouth. 🤔🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨

If you'll practice that enough you'll be able to blow up twisting balloons with your mouth (without using a pump).
That's the only way to practice it...

This was really helpful! I managed a good amount and didn't use a pump. But the air accumulates in the top part and my arm isn't as long as the balloon so it's a struggle to stretch the other half! Any advice? And how do you keep your mouth on when the bubble gets so close to the nozzle?
You don't have to keep holding the balloon after the first half is inflated.
About the bubble that gets close to the nozzle - I hold this bubble with my hand (just like you can see in the video)

The only way I know is to practice it first with a USED balloon.
A used balloon is easier to inflate. By inflating a used balloon again and again you will practice the right muscles to be able to inflate a new modelling balloon in the future.

Try to stretch the balloon before you inflate it, and also while you inflate it with your pump

Yes, modelling balloons are hard to inflate by mouth. You have to practice it with a pre-inflated balloon (because it is much softer)
