I love the vibe these games have, they bring to mind the book as much as the movie. The comic spinoff of the movie and the sequel had kind of a similar atmosphere, but it was lost after that

I still say this is my favorite Jurassic Park game after all these years. Plenty of games have come after that are more ambitious but none of those have the simple joys of this one.
Love the music from the Visitors Center level. Always loved it and keeps coming back to my mind every now and then for no apparent reason. Killer tune.
I remember as a kid not being able to pass the first dino. Finally figured out you had to stun him, and beat the game after likes months of not being able to beat the first part. I was in like 1st grade LOL
I never made it past the power plant level as a kid. I ended up trading this game with someone else for Road Rash since this game was too difficult for me.
Amigo me suscribo a tu canal excelente gameplay.
I use to play it at my friend house, super difficult. I recently got a mega drive with hdmi and tried to play. It’s as hard as before, I used to have more patience to play back then.
Yea, pretty sure I never understood that either. There were so many games from my childhood that were missing one little thing to progress... But without the internet or guide books, it was basically just give up the game for months or years :P
I think is impossible to figure out by yourself to throw explosive grenades repeatedly to make the bones to fall over those immobile raptors. It's such an cryptic ending, that we NEED the guides lol Is just stupid that you can even throw 30 missiles to them and they wouldnt die, only bones would do it.
@@stemen1162 The pink explosives are also used to be able to obtain some weapons. The explosion will cause rocks to break and drop the weapon. The creepiest place that I've never ever forget was accidentally fall on a bodies of water where the head of the dino are block passing our through way. First, that in a stage 3 second stage 1.
Imagine if we get a remake to this where we can play not only as Grant or the Raptor but also as Compsognathus, Dilophosaurus, Triceratops, Gallimimus and Pteranodon and each character gets a nice ending :)
This is such a jog down memory lane couldn’t get past the river raft part and unlike today when you are stuck at a spot there was no internet. I still remember in the instructions if you looked in the book it talked about passwords and had one ATTUV8PEL if I remember correct. And you could start in the volcano area.
Beat this as Grant and the raptor as a kid. I used to use the flash grenades to get past the T-Rex rather than the knockout gas. Also what’s with Grant climbing an invisible staircase in the visitor’s center?
I finished this game.. but the last two raptors gave me a hard time.. it took me countless hours to figure out how the fuck should I kill them. Then my trails and errors worked once.. 🤣
