Go call out the parents letting their kids down by giving them to the system or the family of the parents that don’t take them. Or the pharma companies that have ruined many a person into incapable parents!
Claire from experience the woman* not girls, that do surrogacy do iit because they have children of their own and understand the toll and are able tp put a price tag on it. Paying a surrogate isn’t cheap! And they get paid whether pr not a birth is successful. Do NOT make it seem like there’s a rich class paying 20 year old to pop out kids. There’s a requirement for these women go be previous mothers and to understand the situation and risk. They don’t do it out of need or greed! They do it to help another couple have a child regardless of there being infertility issues or just issues of employment and lifestyle not allowing for a biological pregnancy! You’re so uneducated.

I just had my first a month ago and it's really not so bad! I even had some small complications and a premature delivery and I'd 100% do it all again. You really do forget the pain almost immediately 🙂
Not sure how far along you are but MOST of these "post partum" changes happen BEFORE you give birth not after. I'm 33 weeks in and have only gained 16 pounds, have none of the common issues females have in pregnancy.
Better to know now than be surprised:) Also you can have different things happen in different pregnancies. I'm 20 weeks with baby #4 and every pregnancy has been different:)

They also don’t tell you that when you breast feed it’s also painful in your uterus because it’s contracting. And then it feels like labor again but not quite as bad. Eventually it goes away but still hurts a lot.
This didn’t happen to me with my first. Holy cow did it get me the second time around. Next baby will be taking a hot water bottle to the hospital for after.
Not everyone has this but it can be a shock to have "pains" during feeding. Knowing this prevents bleeding too much and helps shrink your uterus back to normal size is worth focusing on till it subsides.
When you give birth, you'll realize just how strong you are, you're stronger than you will EVER realize. Be patient, educate yourself, and don't trust doctors with everything
I had a good pregnancy thank God. Easy natural labor....I did have 3 doses of epidural though. Morning sickness was 24/7 for 3 months straight. I was glowing. My skin and hair. I didn't get any stretch Mark's. It's genetic on my mom's side of the family. Never had postpartum depression. My baby was born in the summer. I was out with her all the time. Didnt have to be locked inside the home in the cold. She was a pretty easy baby. At 4 months old she started sleeping the whole night. She is now 11 years old 🧡
Natural isn't with epidural though..? That just a vaginal birth which is still AMAZING and honestly giving birth (I've had an epidural and a natural) was the best thing I've ever done and my biggest accomplishment lol
Holly Long a natural birth is a birth that doesn’t need medical intervention, such as c section. Different people have different mentalities on what’s natural or not.
I actually don’t feel bad about not wanting kids ever, I didn’t grow up in an affectionate home and I’m not an affectionate person, I don’t feel comfortable saying”I love you” to anyone, I would feel bad knowing that I wouldn’t be able to show affection and have patience to raise a child, and to be honest a lot of women don’t have children, I just don’t see myself ever see myself as a mother, I see myself as like a cool aunt in the future
Nothing wrong with not wanting kids.. But thats how i felt when i was younger.. Now im 38 and 34 weeks along and already telling baby i love her whenever shes kicking. Funny how time works
EricA Amato I know I’m still a minor ... but I feel really happy for loving mothers, and I have nothing against baby’s, but that just doesn’t seem like the life for me , maybe I’ll change my mind in the future but idk, also congratulations!
Imo I think what would've been a good addition to this vid is having a doctor or someone explaining why some of the things are happening or how to help these situations.
Rhi3698 honestly she was being hysterical. She pumped so hard she did it to herself. I looked it up too- you can’t lactate blood she was just being dramatic
caitosanna JUST HOW DARE YOU say that to a young mom who tried to feed her baby with her boobs and failed. If you don’t know just don’t say anything but that’s so rude of you to say that she’s too dramatic. That’s her experience, she’s kind enough to tell us so expecting mothers can know what could happen but you and your stupid face decide to make a stupid comment that you should have kept to yourself.
Watching this while 17 weeks pregnant and am so thankful these conversations are being normalized. I appreciate all of these amazing moms for being so candid and for educating me on what can happen and what to possibly expect. Cheers to all moms and moms to be! 🤰🏻
Absolutely, after my first child I had to get my gallbladder removed and my second child I had a milk abscess develop in my breast the size of a golf ball that had to be surgically removed. I love my babies but never again.
Pregnancy too, cause the baby basically feeds off of you & then birth, and postpartum tries to regulate everything but in some cases the damage is done
My brother grew up too fast.. poor guy lmao Father at 15, single father at 16 (gf’s suicide) But he’s mature now. He was never able to hang out with his friends, go to parties, get drunk and high. I know I’m meant to be a mom when I still want to have kids after this video♥️♥️♥️ it brings so much joy to me just hearing moms talk about bad things but how powerful to good takes over. I’m not pregnant and won’t be for a while lol I’m not even married yet. But ya love these videos ♥️
I just had my son one month ago, I'm 17. During my experience so far, the birthing process was exactly how it was described to me. Period cramps to the extreme...plus I lost a lot of weight throughout, and after my pregnancy. But my son is healthy and that's all I want.
I just turned 18 and just got pregnant. I wanted it, and so does he. We love our little bean, but so far, pregnancy has not been easy, and even watching this video wouldn’t have been enough to stop him. It’s been really rough tho and I’m only on 8.5 weeks 🥲
My feet never grew. I didn’t gain weight anywhere besides thighs and booty, both went away right after birth. My skin didn’t get more sensitive. I didn’t get weird veins. My breasts and nipples didn’t change. I didn’t get hemorrhoids. These are all very relative to each mother. I’m thankful to have had none of these issues.
Same here! I never even bought maternity clothes, I just had to unzip my jeans. Literally left the hospital wearing a pair of jeans that fit even before I got pregnant lol. I personally think a LOT of these things are related to the lifestyle of the mother.
Kaitlyn 990 It’s not really lifestyle, it’s mainly genes. Just like how your period can be similar to your biological mothers because of genes, your pregnancy is the same. (Obviously not for everyone but definitely for most)
NOT every pregnancy has all these things happen for myself: My feet never grew, I never got new stretch marks (have old ones), didn’t gain weight during pregnancy but did afterwards, milk never came in (no one tells you that part), skin no change, daughter kicked one of my ribs into another so now that spot feels weird, varicose veins nope, hair loss BIG time thankfully naturally way to thick so no big deal for me oh it went back to more curls and some of the other stuff nope. Food cravings that have not left
Exactly I had so much milk, no weight gain or varicose vein and my hair actually grew or morning sickness and my stomach deflated within hours. But i did get weird dark patches on my skin, my breasts are not perky. Every pregnancy is so different. They should remind people only a few things will probably happen per person.
honestly in the end the only thing that really makes me mad right now is that I can't sneeze without peeing myself. I'm very sorry to hear about your milk not coming in, a lot of women blame themselves make sure you don't it just happens sometimes it's not because of anything you've done. all feeding is beautiful, because all feeding is bonding 💕
@@AirQuotes i went through the majority of this stuff and they didn't even get into prolapse, that itchy skin thing, high blood pressure, preeclampsia, etc. This was pretty mild and mainly cosmetic. The thing to know is you're not alone no matter what you're going through, even if it's deciding not to have any at all.
And this my friends, is why i want to adopt kids. You still get the joy of having kids WITHOUT making your body suffer AND then you can give kids without a family a loving new home. Win win all around
All the pain, blood, gore, etc is soooo worth it. My body will never be the same but the love I have for the little alien inside of me was something I never thought i knew. I used to cuddle my bump to sleep and now I can cuddle my baby ❤️❤️❤️
I'm going to be 38 in two days, and people need to talk more about postpartum. I prefer to be prepared for what is to come, so I don't freak out when something happens. I needed to watch this so I have an idea what to expect. Thank you so much ladies, for opening up about what your body might go through after giving birth.
Abigail Hannah baby blues are real, hair loss hits around 3 months of age, your body/uterus takes about 6 weeks to shrink back but don’t expect to bounce back that fast (the 3 months postpartum has been referred to as the ‘fourth’ trimester because all the body changes), breast feeding is HARD if you choose this route be extra sure you’re educated on what to do when and ask tons of questions.... this is just stuff you may not have heard.
"your skin gets more sensitive" me: *4 skin conditions, allergies to foundation and certain makeups, and bath and body works, and any soap that isnt specifically sensitive skin, and permanent rashes no matter what i do* o h.
omg girl me too! my face has recently decided it doesn’t like ANY of my pillow covers 🙃 even products made for sensitive skin make my face basically melt off...
I have skin sensitivity myself. Pregnancies didn't alter anything about that, except at some points when I got drier skin and hair or when they became more oily (I have normal skin). I'm back to normal though.
After the birth of my son I never was told about the postpartum hair lost, I was scared something was wrong with me when I took a shower and I literal chunks of hair was coming out of my head. Thank God Google exist and articles about hair loss after having a baby.
@@HollehhMarie Oh yea..totally! Typically it lasts for one hair growth cycle. For me it started about 3 months PP and lasted for another 3 or 4 months. But everyone is different.

Pregnant women get so many resources for childbirth and nursing and almost all of them go over these things, these women just didnt do their research like they're supposed to

Not to harras Anybody, Treat People nicely like you want to be treated yourself. And that they need to work like clean, cooking, Laundry, And Teaching Them house chores Arent a "womens work. If i get a girl. Teaching her that women and men Are equal. That they can do what They set their heads to. That they can wear whatever They want. That they Are buatifull without makeup. That you shouldnt treat someone for a Thing somebody Else did. Not All men Are bad. But alot is. And alot is going to use Them. That they have to work twice as Hard as men. But overall. I Would teach Them how to be themselves. And teach Them that not All opinions matter.
I have nothing to comment but much much love for these wonderful human beings. As a 30 year old woman who has never been in a serious relationship let alone being a mother I admire you all to go through all of this and most importantly to share them with us so openly.
At first, hearing all these things really really made me not want to have kids. I've heard how childbirth is, scissors are involved... and now there are after effects? They dont all seem so bad, but it was really disheartening once it hit the possiblity of health issues. But then, the last mom's comment really encouraged me. "Whatever marks they left on my body, is worth it because I have them." A mother's love truly is the closest thing to unconditional love. I cannot wait now to experience it myself. 😊😊
Sara Samaletdin Did you miss me clearly saying I had a huge pile of other reasons why I don’t want kids? I’d say the already overburdened and overpopulated planet, the physical pain and horrors of pregnancy, my own mental health, time, freedom, career, creativity, travel, and alone time rank above the vanity. I didn’t mention anything about the way I look. And what on earth does getting old have to do with it? Yes, we’re all going to get old and wrinkly one day (if we’re lucky!). That’s a fact of life and happens kids or no kids. What matters to me is what I do and how I live on the way to that point.
Sara Samaletdin there is no “poor” reason to not want kids... that’s like saying theres a poor reason for not liking or wanting chocolate ice cream, or the flu shot. Any reason is a good and valid reason. Not everyone wants certain things and that’s fine and no one should have to have an explanation to justify their life choices

katrienvdk not everyone has the same experience my first time I didn’t have any of these issues. I even was within the same weight range pretty quickly, if you exercise and take care of yourself they say it can help with some of these issues.
This is wholeheartedly the best video I’ve ever watched. The sheer honesty and how this had a comical touch is what we all needed to break the barrier to the scary side of pregnancy. Thank you ladies for your stories 😂💕
Just had my second baby 3 weeks ago and I can say yes to every single thing these women experienced are true. I got all of them. Nobody tells you these things happen and how much your body changes but women are built differently. Our bodies are like magic!
6 weeks after having my son and I’m still sore. I feel like I’ll never been the same again. People tell you what to expect after having the baby baby-wise, but don’t tell you what to expect with your own body. You are so unbelievably sore and emotional and tired but still have to look after this little bundle of joy. It’s crazy.
6 months after having my son and I still feel drained and not pleased with myself , after birth could be temporary or permanent . And they never tell you what your going to expect after birth.

Palmer's lotion is a MUST skin starts to stretch and itches like crazy! weird dreams lol.. nipples never turn back to the same size/color 🤣 I also didn't swell as much and feet stayed same size (but shoes got very annoying after awhile) nails grew and I STAY HOT ALL THE TIME! a weird dark like start to appear from the bust line to the panty line be mindful of new body hair ( sideburns, middle of the back) gets finer ugh I'm glad I'm almost done!
My hair isn't thinning, but I guess that's after delivery.
This made me realize that I need to start saving money for our surrogate.

That’s disgusting, so many foster children needing homes and you rent a woman to have a child for you
Duda Mendes Mili Do you go thrifting for your dinnerware, clothes, utensils, food? I hope so. Otherwise how disgusting of you to go buy new dishes, clothes, and food that are polluting our earth and filling our landfills.
Your argument of why go get new when wcan use existing ones can be applied to everything.
And why am I disgusting for wanting to have someone else have my children that I am clearly planning and desiring?

I’m pregnant, I’m not sure if I should be watching it 😳
Not sure how far along you are but MOST of these "post partum" changes happen BEFORE you give birth not after. I'm 33 weeks in and have only gained 16 pounds, have none of the common issues females have in pregnancy.
Better to know now than be surprised:) Also you can have different things happen in different pregnancies. I'm 20 weeks with baby #4 and every pregnancy has been different:)
It's good to know though! Congrats!

As scary as all this is, you will forget. lol. IT IS LITERALLY THE CRAZIEST THING. I think it's how people keep having babies.

They also don’t tell you that when you breast feed it’s also painful in your uterus because it’s contracting. And then it feels like labor again but not quite as bad. Eventually it goes away but still hurts a lot.
Wow.
This didn’t happen to me with my first. Holy cow did it get me the second time around. Next baby will be taking a hot water bottle to the hospital for after.
Omg yes, my first wasn’t too bad but it was horrible with my second. I’ve been told it gets worse with each pregnancy 😬
Not everyone has this but it can be a shock to have "pains" during feeding. Knowing this prevents bleeding too much and helps shrink your uterus back to normal size is worth focusing on till it subsides.

Same. Lost 25lbs and was finally content with how I looked then got pregnant less than 6 mo the later. I just had my baby a month ago.
She is now 11 years old 🧡
good for you God bless
Natural isn't with epidural though..? That just a vaginal birth which is still AMAZING and honestly giving birth (I've had an epidural and a natural) was the best thing I've ever done and my biggest accomplishment lol

Imo I think what would've been a good addition to this vid is having a doctor or someone explaining why some of the things are happening or how to help these situations.
Yeah, for example it's most common for women's feet to grow if they gain too much weight or if they eat too much sugar, salt or not walk enough.
When she said she started pumping blood, I cringed so hard
Rhi3698 honestly she was being hysterical. She pumped so hard she did it to herself. I looked it up too- you can’t lactate blood she was just being dramatic

I watched so many videos during my first pregnancy. I’d rather know what to expect and prepare for than to be ignorant.

Hey look, more reasons to never have a baby. I’ll add them to the giant Everest-sized pile of NOOOPE! *shudder*
So did you miss them all saying it was worth it? And we are all getting old anyway. So you don’t have to have kids but vanity is poor reason not to.
Amen to that. I can respect the amazing work moms do, but it is definitely not for me.

This is wholeheartedly the best video I’ve ever watched. The sheer honesty and how this had a comical touch is what we all needed to break the barrier to the scary side of pregnancy. Thank you ladies for your stories 😂💕
Me reading the title: Surprising things your *baby* does after birth. 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

Leslie H so excited for you!! Good luck on your birth😊
Congrats! I wish you a safe and happy delivery!
I have such respect for you and a BIIIIG thank you for being so open and real! We women need to talk about this stuff!
Just had my second baby 3 weeks ago and I can say yes to every single thing these women experienced are true. I got all of them. Nobody tells you these things happen and how much your body changes but women are built differently. Our bodies are like magic!
Daaaammnnn giving birth is hard. Hope may god bless me with this joy 😄
i just came here to fix my baby fever and let’s just say it worked well :)

Dear moms, thx for sharing these 'embarrassing' details, it is soooo nice to hear them and gives us a little insight and a lot to think about🖤
