      $1100 -- I just picked one up at Lowe's for $600...open box item damaged when they were putting it on the display floor. Piece of plastic broke off on the back...we found our $3500 Samsung fridge at the same Lowe's with a very similar issue (two dents on the wall-side of the unit, can't even see them. Walked out with that unit for $1150 last year. Allllways ask to see store's scratch/dent area...they have stuff on the floor and sometimes stuff in the back shipping/receiving area.

    I've had mine for nearly 3 years. it cleans fine on all 3 racks and I haven't had any mechanical or electric problems. it does not dry your dishes as it doesn't have a drying element, I just open the door and they dry fine right after its finished washing. I did have one of the adjustable legs break after a move so I had to put something under that leg to keep it level. the best part of the whole thing is how quiet it is. you don't notice it's running until it drains.

    • @Watcher3223
      @Watcher3223 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      _"it does not dry your dishes as it doesn't have a drying element, I just open the door and they dry fine right after its finished washing."_
      Or, rather, your Samsung does dry dishes, but it approaches that the same way many Energy Star dishwashers do: condensation drying.
      Instead of using an electric heating element to directly heat the interior during the drying cycle, the dishes are heated to high temperatures by heated water during the rinse cycle.
      Because the dishes are hot once the rinse cycle finishes, any water on the dishes will evaporate away faster, with the water vapor condensing on the sides of the stainless steel interior of the dishwasher and running down to the basin to be periodically drained away during the drying cycle.
      With dishwashers using condensation drying, you should let the dishwasher complete the drying cycle before opening it up. That way, you won't waste the heat generated by the rinse and you won't be left with a pool of water on the bottom that may collect in the dishwasher basin if you leave the dishes to dry in the racks.
      Besides, you're not using up much energy by letting a high efficiency dishwasher finish the drying cycle that way anyway; you're only using power to pump collected water out to the drain periodically.

      Plus how does the flatware get clean, there's not really a dedicated sprayer over there. I took the lids off my kitchenaid dw silverware baskets, because i thought they blocked water. Also my silverware wouldn't fit through the skinny slots.

  • @synthesizerisking2886
    @synthesizerisking2886 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    The little streams they show on that other company video were not impressive, but this on the other hand showed a more powerful movement and the water seemed to spray upward opposed to that across view on their video. The upper blade was tossing water also that really helps get the silver wear clean. I liked the powerful jets in this. Only problem I have is they keep saying it is hard to get these from the wearhouse and that they don’t have anyone in my area who can repair them.

  • @justinmishler9967

    I have had one for about a year. Already broke, that’s why I’m searching for it on TH-cam. Luckily found an easy fix, the magnet on the water wall arm lost its effectiveness. Stuck another small but strong magnet to the old one and it solved the problem.

    We have had this dishwasher for years and let me tell you. Get a GE and run far far away from Samsung dishwashers. The endless error codes this dishwasher gets and when you call the repair center they tell you " turn off power to the unit" wait and then reset. We have reset this dishwasher over 100 times and I am not over exaggerating. Sometimes it takes 15 minutes to reset but sometimes it takes DAYS to reset. You read that correct DAYS....so you have a brand new dishwasher that is constantly out of service.

    This is a silly idea. The traditional spray arms are better because the dishes are getting sprayed with water constantly. There is no break or pause in the water flow to any area of the dishwasher cabin with traditional spray arms. With this new gimmick here, you get a break in water flow. Not cool

    • @washersteve3282
      @washersteve3282 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Many machines with spray arms use this system also and have done for many years. Bosch, Siemens, Hotpoint to name but a few here in Europe. Water is directed only through one arm at a time and a simple valve controls it. It means the machine needs less water to run and doesn't compromise on cleaning either.

    • @BroccoliBeefed
      @BroccoliBeefed 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +STEVEN BRADLEY , What the hell are you talking about? When the waterwall is on one side of the machine, the dishes on the other side aren't getting washed. Add the sequence time up in between pauses, and that's a long time.. I can't believe the idiots that would actually buy this junk. And the shameless whores that work at Reviewed ought to be ashamed of themselves.

    Purchased a Samsung DW80M9960US and at 13 months, the waterwall belt broke. Cost around $50 (ridiculous) and about 2 hours to figure out scouring Google and TH-cam (my home warranty is $75 per service call, so I did it myself). About at the 2 year mark, the belt broke again, the water pump went out and the magnetic sensor doesn't work (yes, I tried to use a new magnet). The warranty company has been jacking me around for 6 months and today they finally said that they need to replace the whole unit because they can not find parts anymore. I have almost $14,000 worth of Samsung appliances, TV's and phones. I will NEVER purchase another product from them EVER again. I could go on and on about the refrigerator (RF22N9781SR), wall oven/micro (NQ70M7770DS) but I'm done...

    And they couldn't even arse themselves to put any dirty dishes in it.
    I came here to be relaxed not to have anxiety about wasted water.

    Max projected lifetime of this seems to be 3years - more moving parts more breaking parts
    And of coarse repairability will be low as with all Samsung Household devices.

    I have this dishwasher and loved it...until...it ceased to perform correctly after 13months. Just one month outside of the warranty. Now whenever I start it (in any cycle) I get three beeps and three flashes of the blue light in the door recessed handle. Does this a few times then starts up. It still does clean the dishes but there is something obviously wrong and Samsung won't stand behind their product even though I had to wait 7 months on a back order. Forgot to mention, the microwave I purchased in the suite also had issues but after raising holy hell they covered it. Here to looking forward for the fridge and oven to start up with their issues :(

      If you have a Samsung fridge, prepare to have nightmares with the ice maker. They aren't sealed well enough and the ice launcher will freeze up. Samsung came and installed the upgrade/update kit and it still does it. Have to thaw out the tray with a hairdryer once a month to get it to work again.

    This dishwasher is amazing. Could not be more happy with this purchase. If your on the fence, don't think twice. It can clean dish stains I couldn't remove by hand. Unreal

    After reading the comments i have to say.. #1,Why would anyone pay 1200 bucks for a dishwasher?There is no way your going to get cleaner dishers then a dishwasher that cost $600.00. The saving in electric or water can not make up for the extra $600 bucks. Number 2. To many moving parts and electronics that will break down, from what I am reading. I will stick with my Whirlpool, that cleans the dishes..and did not cost and arm and leg..Unless it's all about impressing your neighbors or guests.

    I have this dishwasher, bought it from Sears. I think Samsung should provide towels along with machines because it just won't stop leaking from the sides. This is a piece of crap. Money wasted. I will stick with Whirlpool. I strongly discourage anyone buying this machine.
