I'm often entertained by the attempts she makes at making sense, but, does anyone have an answer to what is "culture" whether black, white, yellow or brown? Intelligent people learn to deflect those unanswerable questions by simply asking "What do you think it is?" Learning to answer a garbled question with a clear and simple question often helps the person asking it to rephrase it so it becomes answerable. It places the burden on them to provide more clarity. I never feel forced to provide an answer if I do not understand the question. Furthermore, once the question is rephrased making it more clear, it is okay to respond with a simple "I don't know." Jerry Brown, during his first term as Governor of California never tried forcing himself to answer an unclear question. But if the question was clear, if he didn't know the answer, he'd say" I don't know, that's a good question, I will find out". Ronald Reagan did the same, so did John F. Kennedy. But Reagan and Kennedy knew how to deflect with wit and humor. When Kennedy was asked what he was doing to advance the opportunities of women he simply smiled and said "I assure you not enough". The whole place broke out in laughter. Obama was great at deflection as well. It's part of being a leader. You never walk into a trap or let yourself get cornered in a conversation.
