If plane approached runway , and landing gear did not work , that was problem in plane not in pilot..I travelled many times in same plane A320 , to be honest this plane produced many sounds while take off. He was such an experience pilot..Pray for them...Very heartbroken incident

Why didn't he belly land and if the aeroplane touched the ground and damaged engine why was the plain raised again? Obviously damaged engines cannot make a plane fly again... I am not blaming the pilot but i don't understand why he raised again and also attempted to land first time with failed landing gear. They get alarm if landing gear isn't deployed so they tried to land 1 time knowing all this, it wasn't a surprise. If they attempted to land on belly, why take off again a sec later with damaged engines

First crash landing was last option... Piolet used all his experience but it didn't work. Some times it work
But first belly landing was last chance. If you touched run way without landing gear obviously you have damaged both engines.
I think it's bad luck, some times our one decision can make us or break us
From what I have heard and understood, In the first attempt of landing the plane actually touched the runway. But it was bumpy and landing gear could not open. Thus the engines touched the runway which later caused the failure of engine power in the second attempt of landing.

Jab plane pehli dafa land kar raha tha to Landing gear na Khul Saka jis ki waja se engine ne runway se Ragar khai aur damage ho gia , jab plane dobara take off hua to engine us damage ki waja we fail ho gai aur crash hua.

control tower ny nahi kaha pilot decided to go around.. I think he realized very late that the landing gears didn't fully open and plane's engines have touched the ground
Listen up, In the beginning when the plane was arriving Karachi. The ATC didn't allow him to land with that speed and told him to go around but pilot denied and tried to insist, Sir we are comfortable and established on ILS, Why ATC told not to land was because the plane was too high and over speeding for a 5 mile till run way. Over speed too high deploying the landing gear. A320 has a feature that if you are over speeding and too high the landing gear will not be locked down to prevent damages.
You could hear the ding ding ding alarm going off and pilot is ignoring it.
Pilot's Error
1: Close to run way and still too high
2: Over speed
3: Ignoring Alarm (Lg not deployed)
4: Making a contact with the ground and fully throttling engines for a go around
5: Not informing ATC about anything.

It is really a great tragedy. It is requested and suggested that old aircrafts should be replaced by new A320 aircrafts.
To avoid these crashes in the future, they must engage NTSB and manufacturer to investigate the incident. Every particle from the debris of crash should be made available to them to reach a conclusion. Otherwise be prepare for the next...
I dont have a doubt on pilot's ability and training. His confidence must have gotten shattered when he tried landing the plane first time and did not get succeed.

Everybody is wondering here like me and are asking questions. I am just wondering if the landing gear didn't work then why the pilot try to land in his first attempt and damaged the engines as they say. And if he knew then was he landing on the belly in his second attempt because if the landing gear does not work then pilot follow some procedures first and not landing straight away by knowing the gear malfunction. Could anyone explain please?

جہاز Technically بلکل ٹھیک حالت میں اور فٹ تھا اور اس کی انسپکشن چند دن پہلے ہی ہوئی تھی
*دوسری بڑی غلطی* : جہاز کے دونوں انجن رن وے پر رگڑا کھاتے رہے کیونکہ جہاز کے ٹائر کھلے ہوئے نہیں تھے جس کی بنا پر دونوں انجنوں کو شدید نقصان پہنچا ، لیکن دونوں انجنوں کی اس انتہائی نقصان شدہ حالت کے باوجود پائیلٹ نے دوبارہ جہاز کو رن وے سے اوپر اٹھا لیا جو ایک سنگین غلطی تھی اور کنٹرول ٹاور سے اپنی غلطی چھپاتے ہوئے اصل صورتحال سے آگاہ ہی نہیں کیا اور نہ ہی کنٹرول ٹاور کی ہدایات کو پورا فالو کیا اور کنٹرول ٹاور کو سب اوکے comfortable رپورٹ کرتے رہے ، پھر دوسری بار لینڈنگ کرنے کے لئے پائیلٹ نے فضا میں ایک بڑا چکر لگایا لیکن اس ںار پائلٹ کو جہاز کے ٹائر کھولنے یاد رہے تھے لیکن افسوس اس وقت تک دونوں انجنوں کا کباڑہ نکل چکا تھا ، انجنوں کا Thrust اور پوٹینشل ہی نہیں رہا تھا جس کی وجہ سے جہاز میں جان آتی ہے ، جہاز کے انجن جہاز کا بہت حساس حصہ ہوتے ہیں جو کئی ہزار چھوٹے چھوٹے پرزوں پر مشتمل ہوتے ہیں ، اتنے سخت میٹیریل سے بنے رن وے پر رگڑ کھاتے رہنے سے دونوں انجن بیکار ہو چکے تھے ، انجن کے پوٹینشل اور تھرسٹ کے بغیر ایسی حالت میں جہاز کی بحفاظت لینڈنگ کرنا مشکل ہی نہیں ناممکن ہوتا ہے ،لیکن پھر بھی اس خراب حالت میں بھی جہاز گلائیڈ ضرور کر سکتا ہے مگر اس کے لئے بھی ایک مخصوص بلندی Altitude چاہئے ہوتا ہے جس کے متعلق کنٹرول ٹاور پائیلٹ کو بتا بھی رہا تھا لیکن پائیلٹ پھر بھی اس altitude کو Maintain کرنے میں ناکام رہا ، پائلٹ کو چاہئے تھا کہ جہاز جب پہلی بار لینڈ کر ہی رہا تھا تو اسے واپس رن وے سے فضا میں اوپر نہ اٹھاتا ، جہاز نے رن وے پر رگڑ کھاتے ہوئے آگے جا کر رن وے پر خود رک جانا تھا یا زیادہ سے زیادہ رن وے سے نیچے اتر جاتا اور چھوٹی موٹی آگ لگ جاتی جس پر ائیرپورٹ کی فائیر فائٹر گاڑیاں قابو پا لیتی , اور جہاز کے ایمرجنسی exit سے مسافر باہر ا کر اپنی جانیں بچا سکتے تھے ، نقصان پھر بھی اتنا زیادہ نہیں ہوتا جتنا پائلٹ کی دوبارہ رن وے سے نقصان شدہ انجنوں کے ساتھ دوبارہ اڑان بھرنے کی وجہ سے ہوا اور جس کے نتیجے میں بہت انسانی جانیں ضائع ہوئی ، سب کچھ گزر جانے کے بعد نیچے ابادی پر کریش ہونے سے صرف چند سیکنڈ پہلے کنٹرول ٹاور کو پائلٹ نے اطلاع دی کہ دونوں انجن فیل ہو چکے ہیں ، حالانکہ دونوں انجن بہت پہلے سے بری طرح سے damage ہو چکے تھے جب پائلٹ نے پہلی بار لینڈنگ گیئر کو activate کئے بغیر ہی رن وے پر ٹچ ڈاؤن کیا تھا تب سے ہی دونوں انجن فیل ہو چکے تھے
دراصل ہمارے پی آئی اے کے پائلٹوں کو انٹرنیشنل اسٹینڈرڈ کے لیول کی ٹریننگ کی سخت ضرورت ہے اور باہر کی فضائی کمپنیوں کو ہمارے پائلٹوں کے ٹیسٹ لینے چاہئیں ، مجھے لگتا ایسا ہے کہ پچھلے دور کے سفارشی جعلی ڈگریوں والے پائیلٹ ابھی بھی پی آئی اے میں کہیں نہ کہیں ضرور موجود ہیں اور یہ خدانخواستہ آگے بھی مسافروں کے لئے کوئی بڑی پرابلم پیدا کر سکتے ہیں
