Boy howdy!!!! When the color fairies were flying through this canyon they created a true masterpiece of a landscape. You almost need sunglasses to live there. The colors are all so vibrant and rich. Very beautiful place to visit..

Yep. Too much in a few clips. Looked differently at the time on the monitor. But I would definitely have pulled that back some had I seen it in a real world screen at the time.

@@thomasmaughan4798 Yes indeed that's exactly what I thought too-- slightly overexposed and artificially oversaturated. It still looks very good, but there's definitely higher video quality drone footage on TH-cam, in particular 60fps is a must. I would have preferred 1440p at 60fps than 2160/30, but we have to take whatever we can get.

@@mr.commander3947 Check local drone regulations carefully. There are wide areas of BCC/LCC where drones are prohibited (I believe this video is just outside of them, at the mouths of the canyons) because they are developed recreational areas and a watershed supplying SLC drinking water. As for timing, that's hard to say. It's very weather dependent and the mountains are it's own micro climate. It also only lasts around a week. Utah likes to go directly from long Summers to long Winters like flicking a light switch. Autumn is minuscule. That week can range from late September to mid October. I also think the east side of the Wasatch has more spectacular foliage than the west side where BCC/LCC are. This video is heavily post processed with color saturation and luminance very boosted. You don't need that on the east side. Check out Bonanza Flats by Park City. Also be aware this is high altitude (1-2 miles elevation). If you're acclimated to SF sea level you are guaranteed to be impacted by it.

Definitely enhanced. With a different monitor I wouldn't have enhanced the colors as much. But the video has had so many views that I didn't want to take it down.

What are the cobalt blue trees 42 seconds in? Or is this a filter of some kind?
Hi Valerie. The trees looked more gray but with a filter it made them look blue. The filter also made the colors pop more.
