Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is a 2004 action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games. I disagree. The lighting is better (at times) and that’s it. Also, the re-used crap from GTAV is unacceptable. That doesn’t belong in this game at all. Rockstars version is better.

But the engine is in unreal engine and it’ll have high res texture/ better textures and lighting. With better shooting and driving so it won’t be the mobile port which was supposed to be the remaster. I think Rockstar didn’t mean to call it a remaster but I also think you’re expecting too low of Rockstar without yet having fully seen the gameplay yet. But all of the info has already been leaked that the engine will be in the unreal engine and rockstar put that out themselves because they accidentally leaked it through source code.

Realistically, if rockstar released this no one would be happy. A lot is taken from gta 5 and the landscapes, trees etc don’t look great. It looks great for a mod though

The thing that really got me about the gta trilogy remastered is they didn’t use a new graphic engine at least not from what I’ve seen which is a shame I personaly would wait until they made the games from the ground up using a new engine and perhaps release them either a few months or a year apart from each other

That feeling when Rockstar games wasn't able to come up with something new for the GTA, so they will remaster the old classics with better graphics and what not, that the modders were better at way before Rockstar had even that idea.
I liked when video games looked like video games and didn't mimic real life so much. I'm more into better physics than graphics. Physics are what makes a game satisfying. That said, I welcome a fresh coat of paint on my favorite GTA games ever. If any games deserve that treatment, it's the GTA trilogy.
This is exactly why RDR2 > CP77 for me, Physics and animations over Textures and reflections any day.....

I can see that everyone is excited for the remaster of the trilogy, but I'm gonna keep my expectations low. A remaster can be anything such as a small graphics update, a few visual enhancements for the game and some lighting change. It can also be the case that the trilogy will look way worse than the mod shown in the video. If it was a remake then I would be expecting some sort of major graphics overhaul as well as the gameplay. Anyways I hope Rockstar can prove me wrong and give out an amazing remaster

Not gonna lie, this looks absolutely freaking incredible, and the rendering distance is what really sells this for me, it's just what I always wanted on San Andreas. However, that absurd traffic and ped behavior turns me off. Cars coming the wrong way, floating in middle air and clipping through the ground before exploding is the only thing on this video that I really really despise.
