Commercials are bad for sleep. Nothing worse than enjoying a relaxing story teller- you're just about to fall asleep & get jarred awake by the loud intrusion of commercials for crap you aren't interested in. Too bad- great stories & good narration.

To all the people who keep saying that they live in a newly-built house and nobody has ever died there before. Just because your house was recently bought and there was nothing but trees there before does it mean an entire Village wasn't slaughtered there a thousand years ago
Not only that but energy can attach to anything; furniture or even wood you build a house with. Its not just old houses that are haunted. Could have also been a recent person attachment
One issue was that the houses were built close together, and, none of the others was haunted- that the OP knew of. Either they didn't know everything about the other houses, the awful event was very tightly specific to only that patch of land, or,the haunting was attached to them,or was just kind of a wandering influence,from elsewhere.
I would like to point out that legally, the resident of a nursing home, COVID or no, absolutely could go home for the holidays. They just couldn't return to your facility.

I was very taken with the story (about halfway through) about the three foot tall creature that looked like it was made with twigs and had one eye. I have never heard of such a thing, either. My only thoughts were that it could be some kind of a primitive Earth elemental or a fetch that someone made, but carelessly did not banish. Must have been an extremely strange experience.
It's speculation really. Some may be, some may not, but if you've had a genuine experience speculating and hearing other people's stories is interesting.
The way I can tell (I have this weird “skill” for lack of a better word where I can almost always tell when someone is lying so I could still be wrong) is when someone uses too many descriptive words trying to make it sound scary it’s usually fake and they’re trying to pass it off as real. For example, “it was velvety black in the mid autumn night. The pale moon seemed to whisper to me while the newly fallen leaves crackle under my boots as if trying to warn me of what’s to come.” Shit like that. If someone writes the way they would talk, just plain explanation of their memory, I tend to believe those way more.

The Cabin with adam sounds like it was something very dangerous. I do think a witch is possible, but I doubt it. A cryptid is more likely than that because a witch that good would be less likely to encounter. Adam though disappearing has 3 easy likelihoods for why. 1:Powerful life essence. Someone fit, strong, and strong willed is a perfect target for some certain things. 2:Perfect host to sacrifice or inhabit. 3:He was awake. He didn't fall for any of the tricks. He also knew the fact the lady went to an empty room very likely. This is a threat if she is a threat. However, the fact they were just fine and neither dehydrated nor hungry nor excessively dazed after waking(for long) means something was feeding and taking care of them. And/or, worse... somehow they weren't able to progress in events until just before they woke up. I bet the first one.
Lived in Breckenridge Colorado! Have 2 go by Leadville Colorado! Leadville has interbreeding people! Scary town! Will only go there in day time! I've seen coyotes stand 3 foot tall! Not scary
The author of the story about being followed by an older model SUV: are you female? And young? Because your story changes by who you are. More punch if you are a young female because it would imply that you were being looked at for kidnapping for traffickers and that the situation where you first ran into them was you innocently diverting them from another possible kidnap situation. But, if you're a 54 year old male, the story is something else.
