I will tell my children that love is not the most important thing to consider when he or she wants to marry. Why? How does somebody you told "I love you, I can't do without you" few years ago suddenly becomes your enemy? Marriage is a big work on its own. It requires wisdom, prayer, tolerance, money and commitments on the part of both parties to make it work. May God help all the troubled homes

I get the feeling this man has another woman/ family somewhere and he is not being completely honest. He is hiding something. He is paying school fees and he also needs to provide for his kids. The woman should also try and do something to bring herself some money instead of waiting for the man to do everything especially now that he is acting up. I hope God heal this broken family.

The man Friday has really been responsible. Loss of his job and idleness of the woman brought all the wahala. It’s not easy to be a sole income earner in a home, especially with three kids. The woman should find something to do. She’s too dependent on the man. He has got to a breaking point. Would a single mother say because she has a three month old baby she would not take care of her responsibilities? It’s all about planning your life. Economic challenges without any support can push a man to the edge. The man is going through financial stress and seem not to be getting support from the wife. But pushing her out isn't the solution.
The man obviously has made some input into the life of the woman and his expectations are that the woman should stand up for the family at this time. Nigeria now is very tough. Women that don't have any income source should endeavour to have one no matter how little. It helps to reduce tension in the home.

Communication is key. No matter how much you dislike your coparent, you have to humble yourself to have honest and important conversations with him or her for the welfare of the children. The man seems somewhat sensible, but he kept going through strangers to reach his children when he could talk to her directly. That strategy will never work as long as the woman is alive. Like it or not, she is the mother of your children and you have to grow some respect for her and go through her in taking care of your children together. The woman, on the other hand, should let him go, if that's what he wants. And she must find something to start doing, to build her own economic foundation. Marriage or relationship doesn't solve money problems, people must solve their own individual money problems.
Yes, she is the mother of his children but we can't say if he has genuine reason to go through third parties to get them food etc. Some women might use the money for their personal issues and not what it was meant for. Plus, he might be paying the sellers in instalments directly to their accounts.

-This man has probably secured another job elsewhere
-There's another woman who he is probably living with and lying in court about it
-The ‘baby mama' is lazy and probably doesn't want to do anything to be financially supportive, at least to the kids

I also pity the man bc the children might grow up to resent him being that he was the one that ran away and their mother might transfer her hatred to them...
