I use him the least I almost always have peach on my team
A lot of people don't realize this, but Rabbid Yoshi's Scary Rabbid skill works very very well with Mario's Hero Sight and Luigi's Stealy Stare. Just like Rabbid Mario's Magnet Dance to force enemies to move, and let the Mario Bros let lose on the moving enemies. So I consider these abilities very useful.
Yeah but Magnet dance is way more reliable since sometimes when Scary Rabbid is used, the enemies won't move, and also since overall Magnet dance is used way more often

I actually have rabbid Yoshi and rabbid Mario I think that both combined is actually pretty good I don't like Luigi because of his HP
@@kylemorrow360 Well you have to keep in mind about Luigi that people don't realize either. He's the team's Sniper. So you HAVE to keep him far away, since his has not only the biggest movement, but also the longest range. Not to mention he's the only one that can Team Jump twice to gain far distances.
One thing with Peach is that if you pair her up with Rabbid Luigi the two are borderline unstoppable. You can damn near heal-tank more damage then the enemies are capable of putting out

@@liamburgess1335 I've been replaying lately and learning that her protection aura plays extremely nicely with the shields the rabbids get, effectively turning them borderline invincible for a turn, has rocketed her up in my estimation (and she was already great because M-Power and Royal Gaze together basically hard-counter high level Smashers)

I used her and Rabbid Luigi in my latest playthrough, if you max out Healing Jump and Vamp Dash as early as you can you’re practically invincible for most of the game and still pretty broken in the endgame.
4:13 the bworb isn't exactly the same as the blaster, as it deals less damage than it, but makes up for it with its high chance of dealing critical hits. The strongest bworbs even has a 100% chance of dealing crits.

Rabbid Luigi’s stone crit hit on the last buyable bworb is lowkey op when battling normal and mid-boss enemies
But he usually gets replaced quickly due to his low damage, health and dashes regardless of their power
Every hero is balanced perfectly and forces you to create strategies before pulling out, thanks to taci-cam that is made easier!

I would say that Princess Peach is useful if you’re starting out since her high HP means you can afford to make a mistake in a turn. Luigi is great but if you overlook something he could be KO’d in the first enemy turn
The problem with peach is, she has contradicting playstyles. She’s made to protect people with her abilities and massive health, but her royal gaze and weapons can end up hurting teammates. She’s fine in everything and that’s it. You make a good point though.
The best team would 100% have to be Mario Peach Luigi if you could do it in the main gain
I like Peach on the missions where you know you are going to take a beating but imo Rabbid Peach or Rabbid Luigi can work better.
Rabbid Peach is a good overall Healer.
Rabbid Luigi can tank like mad man.
Peach is dependable with a maxed out heal but if you got to spread out to damage foes, you can feel the pain.
Still cool they are all useful.
@@Subject_Keter I had a situation that suits this description perfectly. In the challenge where you must escort Toad across a gield with nothing but chain chomps, it becomes unavoidable to take hits to manipulate the Chomps' movement and to protect Toad. This challenge becomes trivial if you let Peach tank close to Toad (taking 75 dmg), and have someone nearby for her to heal herself via team jump (recovering 80hp)
Peach is useful but it's hard too strategies with her a lot but in healing and Defense she good
Luigi is a true god in this game but is health is a joke compared to everybody else
His health is a joke but he let's me two to 3 turn reach the area levels
Even a fricking toad has higher HP
But look at how broken his attack is 3 shot steely stare with maxed out cliff damage Luigi wrecks long range
Even Donkey Kong has higher HP than Luigi in the DK Adventure.
The sad thing is THIS GAME IS ENTIRELY UNDERRATED AND NOBODY IS TALKING ABOUT PRINCESS PEACH’S ENTRENCE TO THE BATTLE 😭😭😭

It seems like everyone else is doing teir lists so here’s mine
S Teir: Luigi & Rabbid Peach

Luigi’s movement abilities are amazing for movement and his sniping abilities+Steely Stare, imagine using Mario’s Hero Sight and Luigi’s Steely Stare with all of their notches filled, it lowkey is chaos and funny to watch. Rabbid Peach also tied with Luigi because I like her sentry and her healing with all notches filled reaches to places where I’d think it wouldn’t reach which saves me in tight situations!
This may be an unpopular opinion but I think Rabbid Yoshi is one of the best heroes in the game due to his movement (on ground) and he had the potential to ram 5 enemies, his force field can tank 2 shots without taking damage which can be his savior if he’s been damaged a lot prior, his GrenadeDuck is annoying when it’s range hits a teammate, his scream is only found useful when a human hero’s watchful eye is activated. Overall Rabbid Yoshi’s a balanced out character and ya gotta appreciate that.
I didn’t really use Rabbid Luigi outside of the first map, but after using him more I see how great he is and understand his attacks and defense better, his force field is really helpful when an unexpected crit shot hits you so you aren’t affected by it. As great as Rabbid Mario can be and is, he just doesn’t always click for me personally, all of his attacks and defenses are perfect except his singing one defense which is inconvenient at times when they aren’t close enough or the enemies surround him then he dies depending on which stage you’re on with him.
I get it’s Mario’s franchise and his game series but the fact that he just has to be team leader was troubling at times with his only save was for him to crit with honey combat so a Smasher wouldn’t knock him out. Peach, who had the greatest entrance into the battle in the whole game was good at first but her offense was inconvenient with her close range primary weapon and her secondary long (preferred) range bomb which sometimes messed up some of my plans since memorizing every hero’s cell movements, attacks, and defense is too much for me, I’d run the great risk of knocking out a teammate.
Yoshi… He’s my favorite canon Mario character (the game was a project by Ubisoft worked with Nintendo, which explains some of the games elements, I saw a video explaining it) kind of sucks. His eggbeater weapon like Rabbid Yoshi’s is good but its most powerful one has crit ice combat which is only useful against smashers and bucklers mainly, other enemies are farely easy to get around, his ground pound would be trouble in some areas which made it hard to want to use him in any of the battles, and sure his effect defense ability is good for making combat crits more frequent but the chances of the crits happening are already pretty high so there’s really no point unless you really need to make sure the crit hits the enemy.
Finally playing through the game and I have to agree. Peach's entrance was the first time in my 27years that I can say she looked cool. The devs really did her right.

I just bought a Switch this Christmas and had no games to play because the games cartridges where not delivered yet. So, I checked the e-shop and bought this game in a really good Christmas sale price, just to have a mini game to play while I wait for the mailman. And man, you are completely right, this game impressed me, and no one is talking about it, it is very UNDERRATED. This is an excellent game, good mechanics, funny, lot of content, and much more.

I liked the game and currently playing dlc but it needed to be just a little bit more challenging and some of the mandatory puzzles in the last two worlds were really annoying. How come they are more difficult than the actual battles?

Yoshi: A-tier. He would be in the S-tier if you weren't forced to use both Mario and Yoshi in the same team, since those two characters have very similar ablities.

In terms of abilities I would put endgame Rabbid Luigi into S Tier, he is a better and more consistent healer than Rabbid Peach at this point
I feel like "scaredy rabbit" is a great abilty, you can use it to forced hero site abilty, can get enemies out of shelter, and can sometimes group enemies in a area so you can use the "rabbit bomb" on them
You can do that with magnet dance too, but magnet dance is way more reliable.
@@joelplays3032 But magnet dance can be extremely inconvenient to use if you are close to other teammates or if your close to a Smasher. I'd say both abilities are pretty equal in utility.

Before I explain my opinions, I want everyone to recognize that everyone's playstyle is different, and that some people will naturally view characters as better or worse depending on how they enjoy their games. There are so many different elements in different games to rank, but strategy games always have very differing opinions. I have 100%'d the main game of mario rabbids 8 times, and the dlc 5 times, so while I would say I have a great understanding of all of the characters, I still feel that my opinions may differ greatly from others. But here's what I think, comparing to the tier list:
Mario: Severely underrated in my opinion, though it's hard to rank him since you always have to use him in every fight. I say with confidence that M-power is the best technique in the game, but we naturally usually struggle to notice how great it is since it affects our entire party--so we typically don't associate it with Mario, and our brains underestimate his prowess. The best damage that you see from characters like Rabbid Mario or Luigi often comes from Mario. I've played the entire co-op campaign on both normal and hard mode several times, and I can tell you from experience that you really don't recognize how useful something is until you don't have it anymore. In 90% of missions, damage is the main purpose that so much else tries to achieve. A raw 70% damage multiplier is essentially making your entire party 70% better for the entire turn. I do not know how else to stress how amazing this single ability is. Oh, and hero sight is also broken--you get 2 free attacks that are 130% as strong. I've enjoyed getting him to high ground and watching him 1-shot everything that moves late game. I'd put him at the top of A tier, above even Rabbid Luigi (though that may be because as you get better at the game, you need less healing support and can focus more on damage).
Rabbid Peach: B-tier is fair. Heal is another stupidly good ability, and sentries are amazing for so much--wasting enemy villain sights, attacking large groups of enemies at once, being able to damage enemies out of line of sight or behind cover, and much more. She's good, but not amazing.
Rabbid Luigi: A tier is also fair. Many times you do not even need healers like the peaches when you have rabbid luigi, simply due to how broken his vampire dash is. Unlike regular vamp, you can heal 100% from it, so you can simply dash an enemy, and every other character can chip in to regain all of their health, especially late game where damage easily gets into the hundreds. And being able to completely shut down an enemy every turn with stone is stupid.
Luigi: S tier is fair as well. Given he's a sniper, his health barely matters when he can stay so far away from the main battle, and simply use sentry to hit enemies out of sight or behind cover. His damage gets very high very quick with M-power and the high-ground bonus maxed. Plus, he completely cheezes all of the "reach area" and escort missions with itchy feet, and a double team jump with 10 CELLS of midair movement. One of his greatest strengths is his versatility. Most other characters only work in some situations, but you can throw luigi into any battle in the game, and he'll just work. I think he's the best in the game for that and that alone. Rabbid Mario has AOE damage that is beyond broken, but what luigi has and he doesn't is versatility. Rabbid Mario is mostly only useful in defeat enemy missions with closely packed enemies, but luigi works in anything.
Rabbid Mario: S tier is fair. I mentioned that I think he's mostly only useful in defeat enemy missions with closely packed enemies, but he is a vital part in every single one of those missions, and there are A LOT of them, especially in the late-game challenges which are some of the hardest missions in the game. It's also a great idea to set one of his two weapons to be vamp damage, causing him to basically never die, because of just how much damage he can do.
Peach: Underrated here, in my opinion. I won't say she's amazing, but she's definitely not the worst character in the game. She just does everything. She's impossible to kill, she prevents her allies from being killed, and one thing I see forgetten far too much is how good her damage is. Grenaduck is a horrible secondary weapon, but she shares having a boomshot with Rabbid Mario, and she can get incredible AOE damage, not much worse that Rabbid Mario's (especially since she gets the double the shots with it, by using royal gaze). I rarely used peach in my first couple playthroughs of the game, but as I got a better understanding of the game's mechanics and how to use her protection ability, she eventually came to my attention as an unkillable juggernaut that tanks for the entire party and deals massive close-range damage. That being said, despite how good she is, a lot of what she does can be done better by other characters, especially since she unfortunately comes rather late into the game. But I'd put her in B tier at least, probably above Rabbid Peach.
Rabbid Yoshi: Worst character in the game, in my opinion. He tries to do too many different things at once, and by this point in the game, you have better options. Honestly, both of the Yoshis would have been much better if placed at the beginning of the game, due to how all around they both are. Scaredy rabbid is sadly mostly useless other than against smashers (which he already has a shield for), his damage is the lowest in the game, and his only tool for survivability is his shield. Here's what I'll tell you: he's amazing in very specific situations (such as the level in the mines in world 4 with all of the smashers), but sadly, there are far too few situations that he shines in for me to consider him good. His damage is outpaced by Mario, Luigi, Rabbid Mario, Peach, etc, his survivability & support is outpaced by Rabbid Luigi, Rabbid Peach, Peach, etc, and his versatility is outpaced by everyone. He just comes in too late into the game. C tier, for me.
Yoshi: I really hate to say it, but Yoshi gets hit hard as well. The game makes the Yoshis amazing at being all-around, but when you already have 6 other characters competing for the 3 spots, all-around isn't gonna cut it. It's really sad that they had to put the Yoshis at the end of the game. If they were unlocked early, their raw all-around-ness (if that's a word) would be amazing. Every individual thing Yoshi is good at (damage, survivability, support, etc...) can be done better by some other character. Probably his biggest flaw is that he's very similar to Mario, and since you have to always have Mario on your team, I always struggle to find reason to bring him along. I really wish I could rank him higher, but he would go in C-tier, above Rabbid Yoshi, for me.
Nah rabbid yoshi isn’t the worst. Every loadout with peach is towards the bottom end. Dual yoshis can turn 1 clear a lot of the defeat all maps you have that loadout for is the only good boss loadout and when considering the damage mitigation of guaranteed stone nades yoshi also being good on escort maps when clearing blocks to make a faster is relevant it’s a comfortably in top 5 best loadouts and rabbid peach rabbid yoshi is at least better then every loadout with peach for their use on high pipe maps and his ability to move a bunch of enemies can be handy with Luigi to use his overwatch to finish off multiple enemies so Its a coin toss which is better with Luigi. Rabbid yoshi is at least worth using its just he’s very limited in who he pairs well with as his primary really wants guaranteed crits for the extra consistency. And yoshi’s ability to guarantee crits is strictly better with almost everyone to the extra damage of m power. Both boost damage but the guaranteed super effects to stone a group with rabbid yoshi or rabbid mario ( or get a massive heal with rabbid mario) or even just oil a bunch of enemies with Luigi with his over watch or his sentry can be pretty handy. Also makes rumblerang go from inconsistent trash to oh helping otko bowser junior on the post game challenge map with all the mini bosses at once. M power is specifically better for rabbid luigi ( cuz guaranteed crits) and for peach and rabbid peach their super effects aren’t exactly consistently useful but still honey can still be pretty handy vs smashers. Rabbid yoshi is excellent in one loadout meh with rabbid peach and whatever. Peach every loadout with her is pretty bad. Only ok one is with Luigi for the shield ability and even then you are usually just better focusing on either killing targets to lower damage or using super effects to do so or having sentries or rabbid yoshi in his shield take most the fire. He’s second worst but due to the fact that he’s only got 1 great loadout and rest aren’t that good where as peach is the worst cuz all her loadouts are in the range to sucking to being ok. Other characters have more strong loadouts then both of these two but rabbid yoshi does have a great loadout in double yoshi which excels at beating clear all maps fast ( often in turn 1 or 2 and for the maps it’s two turns the enemies alive are stoned so they don’t damage your) and is actually surprisingly solid vs bosses for a no healing loadout.
@@zoruafox7512 Peach actually pairs surprisingly well with all the Rabbids. With Rabbid Peach, Healing and Tanking go naturally to create excellent survivability and Rabbid Peach’s Sentry makes it effortless taking down Shielded enemies since you can just spam secondaries. With Will (Rabbidluigi), his vamp dash and crits pair well with Peach protecting him thanks to his low HP. Rabbid Mario and Peach is arguably the safest combination in the game (Aside from Luigi and Peach, but that loadout is multiplayer exclusive) thanks to a front-line defense of Damage, Healing, and Tanking. And with Peach, Rabbid Yoshi is virtually unhittable with the Outer Shell/Protection Combo where you can use Protection whenever you don’t use Outer Shell and vice versa. So ultimately she has a few niches behind her biggest issue of her tanking and damaging play styles clashing with each other and making a character that still works, but ultimately has a lot of issues compared to her comrades in arms.
@@Driggsdamonstah not really. Dual peach is the worst setup in the game as 1 peach already puts you in threat of running out of time ( ideally in exchange for lowering the chance you die) especially normal peach which if you heal with her you can’t really use her shotgun regularly so you either are using her exclusively for healing on some turns and just have to make do with a grenade that doesn’t even have good super effects or exclusively for damage which she’s ok but not really good at. Double peach practically guarantees you won’t reach times required to beat with a good rank which makes it rather poor. Rabbid luigi it often doesn’t matter cuz the enemies who can hit him regularly won’t do enough to chip him down considering he’s always topping himself off. Maybe for bosses it could be relevant but rabbid luigi isn’t a excellent character for bosses anyway since those aren’t consistently dashable and his damage otherwise is poor so you once again put yourself at risk of having to do it again cuz of time. At least you aren’t always risking having to reset to time only on bosses since rabbid luigi’s dashes are great damage but it still isn’t gonna be fast and beating maps fast is usually the best way to prevent damage since you don’t have to worry about damage if the map is done turn 1. Rabbid yoshi is garbage without yoshi as he is dependent on the extra consistency yoshi provides his primary ( though the two work together very well as you’d expect from a character that can guarantee crits with a character that has consistency in damage issues and stone ). Rabbid mario is by far her best loadout but even then you’d be better off with rabbid peach in practically all situations when considering peach. You’d never actually use peach unless somehow rabbid peach is dead not that would happen since when using a peach the primary risk is running out of time not death. It’s usually generally better to not use a healer in defeat all maps you’d prefer rabbid peach for escort as well as either yoshi or luigi depending on if breaking through cover or moving more steps is more relevant you ain’t gonna not use luigi on reach area and for bosses keeping your units close enough together to actually use her team jump regularly will risk more damage then she’s healing usually so you’d just wanna occasionally group back up and if you stay apart to minimize damage but regroup to heal may as well use rabbid peach ( or heck dps race with dual yoshi since the damage mitigation from his outer shell makes it surprisingly consistent if you aren’t messing around) Heck you’d be better off with luigi too usually as the vast majority of actually significant damage that cover won’t protect you from is overwatch so a sentry is usually all you need. Or just guaranteed stone aka use yoshi with rabbid mario or rabbid yoshi. The maps that are long enough to warrant a healer are few and far enough between that you can exclusively use rabbid peach for them so you’d never actually use normal peach. Rabbid yoshi does do pretty good world 4 though and in the post game ( heck better then both peaches at this point but rabbid peach is still consistently great early game to warrant her being better where as peach suffers because her main beneficiary of her only just no caveats good trait her shielding her Allies and taking damage for them literally can’t be used with her cuz you can’t have 3 non rabbids so no luigi peach pair)
@@zoruafox7512 did you ever consider the fact that it’s not possible to turn one everything most of the time. Oh yeah. Also Yoshi while powerful is just another Mario so there’s like zero reason to use him outside of escort missions rendering Rabbid Yoshi almost completely useless. Dual Peach’s survivability is something I never use so I only really use them against shielded enemies. Icicle Golem would have shown how to effectively use them against shielded enemies if it wasn’t for the fact that the turn limit is too tight which can be easily mitigated but they’re a necessity for Calavera since her turn limit is 5, she has significantly less health, and if you’re going in with glass cannon strats (which you should for most battles) you’ll find staying alive to be too much of a challenge since it’s impossible to one cycle her. You also will not be using the Yoshis or Yoshi and Rabbid Mario if you’re relying on stone since Rabbidluigi reaches 100% guaranteed stone crits before he runs out of weapons to buy. The only strategy I’ve seen work as early as possible to one shot the entire map is right before the Bowser Jr. fight (a strat that I used BTW) every other fight however would take more than one turn. The only time I recommend Peach and Rabbid Yoshi is against the Bwaaaaah trio where Rabbid Yoshi can take a beating from Bwaluigi with Outer Shell. Three enemies that you could only dream of one shotting. Other than that Peach with the other two options are mostly safe options that have both won me many gold trophies. That being said however, Rabbid Peach is awesome paired with Luigi to outweigh his biggest weakness: his health (someone’s gotta keep him alive during those reach area missions) and considering that the only way his sentry would be able to kill a wave of enemies is if they were in range when they have so many other uses like sponging a villain’s sight. Overall, I still would say Peach is the least viable character in the game and likewise with Rabbid Peach being one of the weakest. (Peach, Rabbid Peach, and Rabbid Yoshi are the bottom three.) but every character feels viable in some way even if they’re as useless as someone like Peach.
@@Driggsdamonstah just because yoshi is another mario that doesn’t mean they aren’t useful in fact since mario is sorta well round yoshi can work well on a default loadout especially with rabbid yoshi. Two stoning only 1 unit while nice isn’t really that big a deal. It’s nice but if you are relying on stone you are using it to stome every enemy left in cases where you can’t get all of them at once. Depending on positioning you won’t always be able to consistently beat every enemy turn 1 so stoning a group of them may be warranted and stoning with rabbid yoshi’s nades is the most convenient option usually since you don’t have to worry about position that much just make sure to leave a group that is close together to stone multiple. A second mario is relevant more often then a healer at least since 9/10 if you took damage it was avoidable and using super effects defensively like yoshi rabbid mario or dual yoshi can do makes this even more so. The other 1 out of ten Is boss/mini boss and maybe a supporter but even then you can usually make sure that they attack either a sentry ( which btw makes peach’s ability to protect kinda obsolete the moment you get her) or rabbid yoshi in his shell. If anything the slower nature of healers peach’s desire to be close offensively without an offensive movement ability due to having a shotgun ( as well as her lack of ability to take advantage of high ground in most cases as effectively as most) is what’s getting you damaged Most the time to begin with. Granted the safety net of a healer can be nice and rabid peach is fine overall since she’s designed to do this and effectively serve as training wheels while still retaining some use vs escort maps between healing the escortee which is much more limited in their ability to either get out of the way or defeat anything nearby threatening them and her sentry which is nice for drawing overwatch fire. However peach sucks to use as a new player due to her contradictory design and there’s no there’s no great loadouts with either healer since you can avoid most if not all damage with clever play and having part of their kit devoted to that means that they will be somewhat less effective if you don’t need it. Most the best loadouts are just pick two between luigi rabbid luigi and rabbid mario and dual yoshi is in that general area as well as yoshi rabbid mario ( for similar reasons guaranteed stone is really nice and this has the most aoe for dense clumps between yoshi’s jump rabbid Mario’s everything and Mario’s hammer)
I actually like peach, the heals are pretty useful, she can protect her teammates, and he the *duck.* I guess in this game it's pretty hard for me to say who's the worst in the game because all of them have very powerful strengths. I guess it's my bias to just keep her around Mario while Rabbid Yoshi runs into the enemy side and dashes everyone to hell.

Honestly, I think sustain is an element that should've been taken into account. Peach definitely has lower output (her royal gaze in particular is hurt by being on a shotgun character), but if you're on an escort mission she's invaluable. Rabbid Luigi also makes up for his lower health by vamp dash keeping him healthy as long as he has someone to attack.
Right, but on the other end you can just plop luigi in, have him expands toad's pitiful movement range, and snipe anyone who dare come close.
For me, I swear, rabbid luigi is an absolute unit on the battlefield. He can do really good damage and heal himself anytime with the vampire ability and he and his teammates could survive for longer beacause of that
Pair that up with Peaches' ability to protect teammates and you're all set
Funnily enough, the S-Tier characters synergize. Rabbis Mario’s good at close range, while Luigi’s good at long range.

This Video is seriously underrated. The editing is Very Good, doesn't as for likes or subs, gets to the point fast, and shows off every character very quickly, even for people who never heard of this game. I showed this to my friend who never played the game and he was able to understand why characters like Luigi and Rabbid Mario were in the S tier. I agree with most of the video except Rabit Luigi. if you upgrade his dash attacks, use the Vamp blorb, upgrade his Shield, and MAX his heath he becomes the most survivable. Disagree on one character: Rabbidluigi is the best character in the game. His Vamp Dash is the best dash in the game (though Rabbidmario's is a close second. Shame Rabbidpeach and Rabbidyoshi's aren't nearly as good) making his low health not really a problem as he can keep healing himself. And then heal other characters by having them shoot the two enemies he just vamp dashed. His bworb's crit ratio gets to the point where you're basically going to get one every time you shoot an enemy, even before you literally get a 100% chance, and his shield is great especially against Bucklers. Calling a Buckler's Super Effect with his shield is such a good feeling.
Rabbidmario is second, though. He fits the demolition man role so well, literally the only thing I'd change about him is his secondary weapon. He doesn't really need a melee hammer when he has a scattergun. One that can do splash damage from further away would suit him better.

I do agree, but je has the hammer because of the fact that he has a lot of potencial to group enemies up close to him and smack 'em with the hammer to deal splash damage to all nearby enemies. The Boomshot can't do that but can hit multiple enemies.
I find Rabbid Yoshis scare ability quite useful in a variety of situations. You can use it to push enemies out of cover that you can’t hit otherwise. You can use it to push enemies closer to allies to get them in range or start some combos, this is very useful when combined with Rabbid Mario since you can boom dash and it does AOE damage. You can use it to group enemies up to set up for a melee attack with Mario or Rabbid Mario. I can think of more but I’ll stop here, I think you get the point lol.
Edit: I noticed a comment below mine that said something I didn’t think of that is arguably the best use for the ability, pushing enemies to trigger Mario and Luigis Sight abilities for tons of extra damage.
The scare technique is very useful if you want to get rid of any enemies that only have close range attacks
@@SuperKoopBrosOfficial I find a lot of success with Rabbid Yoshi and Luigi as a team, focusing skill points on Overwatch abilities. You can move yoshi around a lot to deal damage and force enemies into getting shot for running on your turn, reducing the chance to get shot before they move on theirs.
You can also use it for smashers if they get too close
I find scare to be as useful for his grenaduck as Rabbid Mario’s Magnet Dance would be for his hammer

The only thing I would of changed in the game would be Mario can use his iconic powerups or items in battle like Koopa Shells, Bom boms and stuff like that.
Would allow mario to be the most flexible teammate and have some fun gameplay say like the Ice Flower was SMG one, you dash into someone to freeze them or the shell suit that let you bounce off foes and cover or bounce multiple times to hit foes.
Or something truly evil would be the mario maker hammer to break cover, that would be e v i l.
I think rabbit luigi is also S tier. the Vamp effect stays active after hitting the dash attack, so team mates can also heal by attack the enemy. He fully heals himself every turn and can help healing your teammates, so you won't even need a healer.
He can also achieve immortality thanks to his damage reducing abilities and healing every turn.
His Bworb also has a skin that gives a 70% Stone chance found around the 3rd area and a skin that gives a 100% Stone chance found in the post-game. Being able to disable an opponent every turn is amazing.
Yea I think that he is by FAR the best, you just can’t kill him, and he makes Averyone immortal with his dash, and both of his abilities, and his abilities have the lowest cooldowns in the whole game

My recent team set up was Mario, Peach, and Rabbid Peach. It’s great for heal stall and dealing/taking massive damage, but it is definitely weak on bigger maps and movement is very limited. I haven’t really used Rabbid Mario or Rabid Luigi that much and just got Rabbid Yoshi. I did use Luigi for a while and he was the MVP a lot but the low health was a bit hindering. If you could have Luigi on the team with Peach and Mario it might be a winning team if the game didn’t make you have at least 1 Rabbid and 1 Mario character each.

@@JonCom3dy it’s definitely a juggernaut of a team but it can take a while to get things done or get to the end goal of an escort stage. I haven’t played in a couple months because I got stuck in the lava world (and because I got hooked on Genshin Impact…). I need to get back to it because the sequel is coming.

Rabbid yoshi is great for dealing with those enemies that run at you with slabs to smack you. You can bring them in close and then send them far enough away they can't hit you. It's very situational, but he's busted in those situations. Also his shield ability is nice if you know he's going to get shot at

My biggest fear is that the battle locations wouldn’t really feel like part of the world anymore, because from what we’ve seen it’s gonna be like modern Pokémon games in where enemies appear on the map and can run into you for battle, meaning the battle zones whilst not always guaranteed, won’t feel like they’re part of the world.

Yeah, I think I agree with pretty much all of these, but something I noticed is that Rabbid Mario and Rabbid Luigi go really well together. (Rabbid Luigi is my favorite character) he's a good support character with vamp dash and high vamp chance, so despite having low health, he pretty much never dies, and that does a pretty good job at keeping RM alive.
Also even though Mario is a pretty good character, it's a shame that he's required on your team, and we can't get a different character on our team, like Luigi or something.

He may be a glass cannon sure but he most likely can be annoying to face off due to his long range, great damage and amazing mobility. I wouldn't call him broken but he's amazing and my favorite in the game (irony cause he's my fav. character in the series)
Also I was actually shocked on R.M how good he is. Although I would consider R.L. be the best Rabbid in the game imo, but after the analysis of R.M. I was impressed since he's actually my least favorite in the game. He's not bad by all means just can't handle his playstyle (or maybe I got used to regular Mario).

I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out yet and I'm not gonne scroll through all the comments to check it, but I wanted to say Rabbid Luigi's Bworb IS different from Blasters. It's the only weapon in the game to have access (almost?) all critical effects instead of just two and it hsd a high chance of crits when you have a strong version of the weapon,even leading to 2 post-game bworbs with GUARANTEED crits!
Honestly I really love pairing Mario, Peach and Rabid Luigi together as they are all powerhouses

But i always use rabbid luigi and using rabbid luigi and yoshi together is a bit redundant… 100% super effect rate on his bworb without super chance. I love the utility of stoning someone whenever i want along with vamp being the most fun way to heal and if used correctly the best way. Also yoshi is very similar to mario and since you are forced to use mario… once again it’s redundant. So i understand the power of super chance, it just wouldnt fit onto my squad of Mario, Rabbid luigi and Rabbid Yoshi/Luigi depending on the battle.
I think Rabbid Mario is a little overrated. He is a friendly fire nightmare with all his weapons and movement. He is so awkward to fight with a team to pick out a shot because the game doesn't allow for custom placement of AOE and I don't like the shotgun in this game, it can be powerful against a large amount of weak enemies in the open but it often destroys coverpoints you will use in the next step of the fight. Someone on the team is almost always in the way with the AOE size and shapes of his attacks. Upgrading the size of his dash AOE almost felt like a downgrade to me. So that makes him a natural to send out ahead to go commando on the enemy, sure. If he had some skill to self heal and sustain himself alone, like if his shield absorbed the first shot as health or something, he would be a great. But in any real challenging fight, if you send him against multiple enemies alone, he will just die on the enemy phase eventually being chipped down or just immediately be useless due to a status effect like ink/stone/honey or even just a bounce reaction shot on the enemy turn. It just seems like a risk with no one close enough to cleanse or heal him.
I found R Luigi to be way better. If it wasn't for the turn limits, he can practically solo the ultimate challenges as a self sufficient guerilla fighter. Between his guaranteed vamp on his dash with good damage and two targets, his shield damage reduction and the only way to protect against status effects in the game, the weaken when surrounded by enemies, the 100% crit on his basic weapon, which has stone, and rocket launcher for cover/sheild enemies/aoe at range he can survive the craziest situations. I literally beat the first two ultimate challenges under prepared with my other two team mates knocked out and him soloing the whole end. The enemy just could not out damage his skills in rotation and with the vamp healing every turn.
I would honestly swap R Luigi and R Mario in my own list. He is less situational and more consistent and has a fuller more rounded skill set. If vamp didn't paint enemies for your team mates, and his dash didn't have a 100% change to inflict it, on two targets, with a bunch of damage, for free as part of his movement, I might not, but that is just the craziest thing in an otherwise balanced game.
I actually almost beat Ultimate Challenge 1 with only Rabbid Luigi, but then I remembered the turn limit.
Use the magnet dance, with the luigi and Mario technique with bounce. Watched as they slaughter the minions and then hammer the survivor. He is a great decoy and damage dealer. Since I can' t Luigi and Peach at the same time. Rabbid Mario is my protector if I pick Luigi and my damage dealer if I pick peach. The guy is incredibly useful, despite his drawbacks, it often felt that he is exactly what missing.
Just get luigi and peach then
Basically you have Rabbid Mario find the center cluster, use a maxed out Magnet Dance and Hammer them to Peach Castle.
Load him up with Vampire Weapons and he is bound to leech life off someone. He is the Vanguard protecting everyone but i admit, it takes some time to get his playstyle down.

my go to team was both luigis, rushing in with vamp dashes and all the disables made it so even luigi never died cause he would get all his health back instantly. plus with being so aggressive enemies would normally clump up together for massive AOE damage

In my opinion, Yoshi and Rabbid Peach are amazing. Yoshi’s attacks, when combined with M-Power and his second special skill (I forget the name) can deal loads of damage, and Yoshi is just amazing in general. Rabbid Peach can deal some really good damage and she can heal. Although her movement is meh, she’s really really useful!

Personally: my favourite character is rabbis Luigi. This is because of his primary weapons. He has a 100% stone chance. He can disable ANYTHING he doesn’t one shot
Expect a few enemies like bosses, sentries, ect...
WHY IS PEACH SO UNDERRATED?! She is a great defensive character, but she can easily switch to offense in a snap with her powerful boomshot. When you need support make her retreat, use protection (60% because 100% is bad and kills her) and throw a grenaduck to blow up enemy cover so Mario can destroy them, not taking very much damage from prot 4.

1.) I don’t suppose you’re gonna a VS mode tier list at some point (Unless you have)
2.) Truly underrated channel you have here.

I think you maybe could have gone a bit more in-depth with character's abilities and how they match with others. Like how yoshi's super chance fixes his biggest problem of inconsistent damage and guarantees stone effects on others, or how yu can use scaredy rabbid to activate hero's sight moves etc. But aside from that great vid, you explained everything pretty well.

I always use RL and Luigi on my team. The two of them together can cover all the bases with RL vamp dashing and Luigi sniping from afar (or Luigi running ahead while RL taking the enemies attention in racing stages). I wish I can swap Mario out tho. He is good but on RL-Luigi combo, I felt that he's the one dragging everyone.
Enemy too far away to dash? Luigi got you covered with his itchy feet ;)
As far as the weapon specifics goes
Blasters do mid damage
With a cap of up to 70% chance to trigger its effect (provided you actually have an against enemies effect)
Bworb does less damage than the blaster but it has a 70-90% chance to trigger its effect against any enemy meaning you wanna give him stone or vamp
Boomshot was pretty well covered aside from the lower damage at longer range and the ability to hit multiple enemies
Rumblebang deals very very inconsistent damage anywhere from very low damage to incredible damage (if you're using rabbid yoshi make sure to use regular yoshi with him so they can trigger the max damage possible in one turn)
Precision deals absolutely incredible damage and has a decently high chance of triggering its effect but it doesn't get any upgrades to the damage it deals to cover (not like that matters since luigu has the best movement in the game)
The weapons differences don't really change anything on the tierlist just thought I'd note (aside form rabbid luigi having such a high chance to trigger your effect means you could basically trap a midboss or a really tough/dangerous enemy in a state of limbo if you use stone which since he has vamp dash you really should just use stone) I'd boost rabbid luigi up a tier but that's the only chanhe I'd make everything else is perfect
I would use rabbid yoshi scaredy rabbit to push strong enemies away while Luigi or Mario hit them as they are running away with Hero Sight or Steely Stare

I also use it to trigger their overwatch abilities but i also use it force enemies out of cover.

I had Mario, Luigi and Rabbid Peach almost the whole game so when i got to Act 4, i just whipped out Rabbid Mario with a maxed oit Magnet Dance.... oh god the carnage.
This is a great tier list! I personally think Peach is the worst too, but I think Rabbid Luigi is the best character because of his chances of getting crits and his vamp dash. By world 3 he already has a 70% chance to crit, which is ridiculous. And, his vamp dash is basically a team heal because if a team member needs healing, all you need to do is vamp dash an opponent and have that team member attack

know this is old but I actually feel as though the yoshis are both worse than peach, their damage output is worse than R.Mario and Luigi and some of their skills are outright worse than others like R.Yoshi's only defining trait is just the shield and that's it and then there is Yoshi who has a random set of skills that are a bit clunky and don't mesh well, doesn't help that he is a mario clone so you get poor synergy out of it
@@nightwish1453 the way I see it, yoshi is obsolete compared to Mario because Mario is required and peach is obsolete compared to Rabbid Mario. Rabbid Mario has better damage output and peach’s skills aren’t even that great, protection can hurt more than it helps and is always unnecessary to me, and her healing jump’s heal is nowhere near as good as Rabbid peach’s or Rabbid luigi’s
@@XGame80 comparing R.Mario to peach is a very awkward comparison as one is a frontline nuke while to other is a tank, admittedly for a tank Peach doesn't seem to have any trouble at killing things not saying she hits harder but rather it's just a weird bonus on her that shouldn't be fully underestimated. I have used protection and it can make damage feel very minimal specially with Peach's high HP that she can take a hit for definite.
healing jumps I find to have more practicality and not as linear then R.Peach's heals which by the late game I find she is only used for the escorts and nothing else as the recharge can be a bit clunky unlike peach she can be used a in few more varied missons due to being able to heal constantly.
Peach can be helpful on destination missions, because she works so well with R.Mario (go full on frontline tanking and damage) and R.Luigi (stack weakness with passive healing and protection and it makes you nearly unkillable) I think there is room for her to be used a few times so I would rate her on par with R.Peach and Mario

Without watching your tier list, my endgame combo for the ultimate challenges was Luigi and Rabbid Mario. The sinergy is sick, since Magnet dance triggers Luigis ability, and viceversa works too, luigi can add movement to rabbid Mario so he can dash and explode more enemies.
Rabbid Mario tanks, Luigi snipes and Mario powers them up.
The ultimate aggro combo. Those three are unstoppable together.
Mine were Rabbit Luigi and Luigi, mainly because the two brothers on their own pack quite a punch with their extra attacks, which synergize well with Rabbit Luigi's vamp to keep them alive while they go guns blazing. Also, Rabbit Luigi with 100% stone is perfect to guarantee shutting down one enemy every turn (especially powerful mini bosses).
Action economy is the MVP here.
Rabbids yoshi scream is good if you can’t hit the enemies behind their cover so you can make them move, or you can use it to activate the stares abilities where when someone moves, they get shot
I also really like to use it on bucklers! They get annoying when paired up and scare does just the trick!
What makes Rabbid Mario so good.
Simple just give him the following boosts.
M-Power and Itchy Feet or Super Chance. Makes most or all enemies disappear. Itchy Feet for Boom Dash or Super Chance for Vamp or Stone hammer.

I like this list, it isn't mine but its very respectable. I would Put DK at S Tier because picking up enemies, allies, and cover to throw them is really funny and awesome! He also does so much damage so in my opinion he would be the best in the game if you could play as him in the main story and not just the DK adventure DLC. I would Move Mario and Yoshi into A Tier because they are very solid characters that are similar to each other and they are my personal favorites.
Rabbid Yoshi is my favorite character and so is Rabbid Mario. Scaredy Rabbit could come in handy with pushing Smashers away. I've heard that he's great against bosses. Rabbid Mario comes in handy for dealing with a lot of enemies, but you'd have to be very careful with friendly fire.
I also think rabbid Yoshi is good he is my favorite character and he's very useful paired with rabbid Mario because they can both attack groups of enemies
I mostly roll with Luigi + R. Mario for most fights. For bosses I switch out R. Mario for R. Peach, and if a level has little open space and lots of pipes, I swap Luigi for either R. Luigi or Yoshi., Depending on the number of enemies. I never use Peach or R. Yoshi.
Peach because her kit doesn't make much sense, being based around protection and healing while having two friendly fire weapons. Her overwatch ability is the weakest, due to there being no extra shots and having the shortest range, not to mention you could be shooting your own team. Her protection ability doesn't reduce damage, just redirects it, which makes it pretty useless. Her mobility is poor, and it's not worth investing orbs into her dash, so I really don't see what her strengths are supposed to be.
Rabbid Yoshi is a lot better than Peach but 5 dashes is just overkill. You're rarely ever able to get 4 off, never mind 5, and this is balanced by having his max rank dash only do 90 damage. However, he's pretty tanky, very mobile, has a great bubble ability and his aoe fear synergizes well with overwatch abilities. He's decent, but just seems like a worse version of R. Mario.
I love that this game is actually challenging or none of this stuff would matter. Getting perfects in every stage really isn't as simple as just rushing every enemy down, which is surprising for a Mario spinoff.

I actually love Peach. I'm in my 3rd-4th playthrough now, and I feel like she just keeps getting better every time. Her protect ability alongside her massive health pool and being able to heal back 20% just for moving means that she ends up being able to tank damage and recover it incredibly quickly.

I use Yoshi mostly because of his second ability. Using the ability to 100% critical hits + Mario's second ability to power up the attacks is insane.
And with rabbid mario for 100% stone? Brutal combo against mini-bosses.

I think Rabbid Luigi and Yoshi go well together in my opinion, having 160 vamp dash and high crit chance is pretty broken, Yoshi having ground pound team jump and both having rockets making them both strong and helping Mario a lot, plus with Mario’s melee, hero sight, M power, weaken, super barrier, egg beater, and super chance is kinda broken
Rabbid-Mario is such a giga chad
I would put rabbid Luigi in S tier, vamp dash is great to supplement any healing and he literally has 100% chance to turn whatever enemy he shoots to stone. Weaken isn’t the best ability but it’s pretty solid. Similarly, Mario I would maybe put A tier because of M power. I usually roll with Mario, rabbid Luigi, and rabbid Mario/regular Luigi depending on the map.
I'm really glad you have similar opinions to me! I'm glad someone finally agrees that rabbid luigi and rabbid mario are really good. I do think luigi is a good character, but I think he is tricky to use because of his low health. Also, in this game there are not always good places to hide, which is really bad for luigi. As you know, in this game, your characters die in an instant if you leave them too open. I would put luigi in A tier. Also I'm really excited for Sparks of Hopes in a couple of months!

I feel like rabbid Luigi is an S tier because the vamp status condition vamp dash inflicts and be upgraded, and at max it heals 100% of the damage done to the enemy. This is absurdly good, and it can fully heal your characters if you use it right, and it ALSO practically makes rabbid Luigi invincible whenever there is 2 enemies within his movement range and he doesn’t take his max hp in damage in one turn.
Edit: Not just an S tier actually, but the best character in the game

Yeah Peach Has Low movement but she Has Good Weapons and her Heal jump is Good
On my most recent playthrough of this game, I didn't use Peach or Rabbid Peach once at all. (I used RP until I got Luigi and only used Peach on 2-9) I got a perfect on everything except for the final boss. My Most Used Characters are Rabbid Mario Luigi, and Rabbid Luigi. These Three are monsters.
Makes sense that Mario would be B tier, your forced to play as him in the main game so of course they are going to make him an all around character
In my opinion rabbid luigi shoud be in the S tier
1:The vampire dash heals you 65% of your Health only having two enemies close and whith the bworb can heal all your health in one turn whith no abilities.
2:The stone effect can make every enemy except bosses not doing nothing for one turn and the bworb gives the stone effect every single shot.
3:The shield ability blocks effects which is super useful when there are a lot of enemies that have for example ink in the effect and also blocks a lot of damage half I think.
Something extra about Rabbid Mario's Shield
He can deal with Yoshi's and the one Rabbid that can also ground pound as with Yoshi having 0 damage from the Ground pound
For the main game i pretty much stayed with the beginning squad but at the end switch rabit luigi with yoshi. The damage buff from mario + the guaranteed critical damage from yoshi comination is op and i love it. You can destroy your enemy roud one sometimes.
rabbid luigis 100% crit weapons make him a must have on my team. he can heal himself and get right in the right. rabbid peach's secondary abilities are incredibly useful, so shes also always on my team. then i bounce back and forth between rabbid mario and luigi as my 3rd

Rabbid Luigi is not an s tier but a very HIGH a tier because the critical abilities have a VERY high chance to trigger. Also rabbid mario is broken, thanks for showing that. :D
(MY man's yoshi has stone from what I remember, and his high hp for not being a dlc is nice. I find him either a high b or a low a. Still agree with you though)

My main group was Luigi, peach and rabid peach. I had huge range, recovery and movement allows for lots of dash attacks for that added damage.
The bworb is more than just another blaster, it does less damage, but has a higher chance of getting a super effect.

I don't think Luigi is "that" op. Even tho his movement is absolutly insane and can be very usefull in "reach area" battle, and also the fact that he snipe from far, his very low amount of HP make him pretty risky to play if the area is really small or not that flat. He can still be one shoted easilly if he has nowhere to hide.
Personally my go to team for Kingdom Battle was Mario, Rabbid Mario, and Yoshi
Mario with his hero sight alone is at least an A tier. Any ability to get more than 1 extra attack is amazing really. Paired with Luigi and the Mario bros combos is an absolute beast with their *5* extra attacks in one turn.
And with Rabbid Mario luring a bunch in, it becomes an outright manslaughter.
