If you ever make it to the Northern part of Botswana - Visit Maun ; it's the gateway to the Okavango Delta and with such expedition you'd have a lot to see and/or explore. The terrain, safari, culture, flora , river and camping sites will make your trip(s) worthwhile. And with a combination of photography, the (aerial) shots you'd capture would be breathtaking cause Maun itself has beautiful raw sheer African beauty.

how about next time you do some overlanding tips for starters?
One thing i like about you is how you always try make things seem simple.
I always enjoy watching Edward Bath, Ryan @ 4x4 Ventures, Chris@Ge Out Go, Roland at My Life in Africa, Juba's Journey i can go on and on. But though i can say they are mostly very well equiped sometimes theirs may even make one feel Overlanding is just too expensive to even think of. But You and Roaming Rhino have made it seem very much possible with yohr simplicity. Especially for us the broke ones in Gaborone. Love how you even made me feel i can just go have some lunch at Metsimotlhabe river, not to always think of Khutse, CKGR or Moremi everytime i think of overlanding.

Nice...these excursions close to the city can be done with stock vehicles...
@@Antwan674 Absolutely, overlanding doesn't mean you need to travel extremely far. For me its all about being outdoors and exploring :) The river is close to gabs and easily do able with any 4x4. Enjoy it brother!
Thanks for the kind words. It's a fact that you do not need expensive equipment to enjoy the outdoors. Just go out and have a lunch or picnic somewhere. The journey is what makes it fun. Botswana has so many hidden gems that needs to be explored.
